“Testimonial Brent is an outstanding teacher! “I've used Tutor Hunt many times now - helping my 2 sons get through GCSEs and A levels. So easy to use, a huge selection of tutors to choose from. What I really like is being able to choose a tutor with my sons - you see a photo, read their details, see clearly how much they'll cost. This has got my sons on board each time before they start, which has really helped. I would highly recommend the site.”

“Anthony is a knowledgeable and thorough tutor who has adapted lessons to ensure my daughter understands the syllabus requirements for her history A Level. He has also generously given his time to support her with preparation for a university interview. Would highly recommend Anthony and Tutor Hunt!”

“Steve has been helping my son who is in Year 13 with both Maths and Physics A Level. He has excellent knowledge of both subjects and a through understanding of the syllabus and exam requirements. My son enjoys working with him and has developed his knowledge and confidence in both subject areas. As parents we are extremely happy with Steve`s communication with us and the advise he gives our son. We would definitely highly recommend Steve as a tutor for both Maths and Physics.”

“Our son has been working with Aman (who we found via Tutor Hunt) since last September when he started Year 11 at school. We felt that he needed extra help with his English as although he was certainly not lacking in effort he was finding it quite difficult and would easily get frustrated. Aman clearly explained to us how she would be able to help our son and we were instantly impressed by her enthusiastic and friendly approach and our son felt very comfortable with her from the offset. Over the last few months we have seen a remarkable improvement in not only our sons work but also his confidence in regard to completing said work. When they started working together our son was a steady grade 6 but as a result of all the hard work and effort they have both put in he has just achieved a grade 7 in his GCSE mock exams and was only 1 mark away from a grade 8. Back in September this did not seem remotely feasible. Aman always provides us with detailed feedback and is very accommodating in regard to changing the days or times of lessons. We cannot recommend her highly enough and would definitely encourage anyone looking for extra support for their child to consider Aman, you would not regret it.”

“I had signed up to a few sites for tutoring help with my daughters accountancy exams. Tutor hunt was quick, reliable and very easy to use! With a response from a tutor within a few hours and lessons set up all st immediately it what just was we wanted and needed! Higly recommend this service to you others!”

“Struggling to get my profile approved because they are unable to check basic update dbs service! Asking me to get a new DBS (last issued in Dec 2022) despite being on update service they need to see my actual certificate (which I lost accidentally). I don’t understand when the same service is acceptable for schools in the UK why it isn’t for tutor hunt. I have gone through rigorous checks when starting to work as substitute teacher and all cleared. However, I can’t get through their site because it’s their policy to “see” the certificate when same or more update info can be checked online for free. Absolutely ridiculous policy and stuck in 19th century!”

“Have been tutor for more than two years and depsite low rate, offering core subjects and comprehensive profile, I have interest from one student more than a year ago. When I contact them for help, either their is automated message saying no one is availbale to help. The platform allows tutors to contact "students". I have maxed out the number of contacts per cycle on more than six occasions and there was no response from a single human being. This is despite new "students" who show that they created an accoutn just a few hours ago, of which there are in the order of tens per day. Highly suspect there is a bot generating "student" accounts which suspiciously leave written section blank where they are supposed to detail what they're looking for ALL accounts.”

“When I was first trying to find a tutor I came across the Tutor Hunt website. I didn't know anything about the site and could only go by the reviews. I was still skeptical but thought I'd give it a go. I have no regrets, the site made it really easy to find a tutor, really easy to see what other people thought about the tutors and is an excellent go between to communicate and pay for lessons. I would recommend this service to others.”
