Though my request for technical support was referred, there was only a cursory engagement with the problem I have with my Tricel UK6. Also, the proposed servicing agent, though potentially helpful, is based in Bromsgrove - 65 miles from where I live in North Shropshire. Thus I am left with a problem on which I urgently need more advice.

waiting for a call back to be sent out a brochure about a treatment tank, why the person i spoke to could not take my address then i do not know,

Apart from the unpleasant odour our sewage treatment plant works well. The plant has been fitted by an experienced installation company, it is serviced and de-sludged regularly. On seeking advice from Tricel on what carbon filter they recommended to overcome this problem we were told that their products never have an odour problem and referred us to the service manual. This response was not helpful in any way. Would not bother to ask their advice again.

Good morning Ms Turner, we’re sorry to hear we didn’t meet your expectations. In relation to the odour, we do advise you to check the list of possible causes and solutions from our manual. If once those checks are performed the odour is still present, we’re happy to recommend someone to come and do a service call out. I'm not sure why I have been asked to review Tricel so I have given a neutral score. However, if I have used your company and had no complaint then the score should be much higher. Other itemized scores will be neutral for the same reason.

Asked if a Tricel product had been registered with you after fitting ,this is a property I'm buying and asked if it had to have been registered with the local council. I didn't get the answer I wanted.

Good morning Mr Pease, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry we didn’t provide you with the answer you were looking for. However, we did advise you on the documents you should ask for (proof of annual service and desludging) and we confirmed that the structural warranty (20 years) remains. Your local council should be able to advise if it had been registered with them. The seller of the property is responsible for ALL the information you require. First impressions were good. In going into the detail, the information given seemed confusing. More training of Rep is recommended.
