“This review is long overdue, but I wanted to take my time with it. We added 2 new bathrooms after a long search we decided on the Capuchino Marble tiles. We placed an order, and then we got some of the worst news, my husband's Mother needed emergency surgery. This turned our lives upside down. I informed Jo and she held the delivery back for us as we were not ready to accept it. She was so understanding and helpful at a time when we needed it. I can't tell you how much I appreciated her kindness. When we were able to take delivery the delivery guy was amazing and so helpful. There were a few tiles which needed to be replaced and this was arranged quickly without any fuss. The finished product looks absolutely beautiful. Stunning 😊 we are very happy with the result. My only advice is to order a few more than you think as reordering a small amount cost the full delivery charge which is costly. We wish the whole team at Travertine Store a big Thank you - Gina and Gareth”

“Bought our tiles from here as very fairly priced. Although delivery was £60 the price still was excellent. Only thing I think is a little odd is the delivery is £60 for anything, so I was ordering some sealer and still £60?!. Anyway I would definitely recommend this company, Jo who answered all my questions was very helpful and patient with me a novice. Will upload photos once down if I can. Thank you.”

Hello Mr Edwards Thank you for your sample request, we apologise for the delay in your sample delivery. We use Royal Mail for our sample shipments, as you may be aware, they have been on strike action recently which inevitably causes delays in our sample deliveries, Royal Mail will always prioritise emergency deliveries first even after a strike action has ended, they will then clear any backlog progressively. Please accept our apologies for the delay.

Hello Mr Rowley We are sorry that you have not received your samples, as you are possibly aware, there was heavy strike action during this month by Royal Mail and therefore we have had some of our samples either delayed or lost in the post. We do resend the samples as quickly as possible, whether they are postage-paid samples or free samples like your sample request when we are informed of such cases by any of our customers

“Bought Botticino mosaic tiles. Good quality and decent price, but the delivery cost at £80 a pop for 3-5 working days is a robbery. Unfortunately i needed more tiles than expected so had to pay that twice…”

Dear Customer, Thank you for your review and your kind words regarding our pricing and the quality of our product. We can not, however, agree with your comment regarding your delivery costs. The delivery charges on all orders are viewable on our website before payment is processed and therefore not hidden charges. We use a 3rd party haulier and all charges are per pallet which is the same for up to a full pallet of items. It is always recommended that a little extra is added to tile orders, taking into account possible breakages and offcuts during installations. As much as we would like to, it is financially not sound to take on the 3rd party haulier charges ourselves for customers that may find they need a little extra to complete their installations. “Ordered tiles above standard price from competitors as it was labelled as in stock. Was told the order was dispatched. Had to chase up a week later only to find out it wasn’t actually in stock and hadn’t been dispatched - it then took a week to be refunded.”

Hello Mr Elmoughy. We are very puzzled by your review. You placed your order on our website on the 3rd of October at 21:50, your dispatch date during the ordering process was confirmed to you as the 4th of October (due to warehouse operational hours) Your delivery date then was confirmed as the AM of the 5th of October, all this information is always visible to all customers BEFORE payment is processed. At no point, this item was out of stock for your order so your order was delivered on the 5th of October at 09:48, therefore honouring our promise of the next day AM delivery of your order. With your mention of "from competitors" we think you may have placed your review on the wrong website as your order with us HAS been delivered to you on the date and during the hours as promised. All relative evidence of order dispatch and delivery is available upon request.

“It was a pleasure to actually speak to a real person to secure my order and very efficient she was too! Everything went as planned and the tiles were delivered politely and with care though one tiles was cracked, but I had allowed for this in my calculations.”
