For the last 4 years I have insured with TravelTime. This year’s renewal got a nasty surprise!! When the renewal email arrived, I went online and got a price of £357, but I had some questions to clarify so I called the next day (had to go thought all the medical questions again – that’s expected), but the quote was now £392!! I did mention to the lady the quote I got online, but she could not match it and she recommended that I should go online and take the better offer. Later that evening went online to find the quote was now £445!! Eventually got a price of £380 over the phone next day which I had to settle for. This was not a good experience – it took too much of my time and felt I was taken advantage of being loyal to you. Next year I will be looking at alternatives.

The policy appears to meet our needs however, I do not appreciate all of the emails I have received since taking out the policy. The only reason I have not unsubscribed is in case you are then unable to contact me when you need to

Navigation through the website was fine. Did not however receive a confirmation email. Rang customer services who said would sent a copy, but nothing received! Good job I took screen shots.

Getting pricey for what you get, unfortunately i have a health condition it's not life threatening but you know how to charge.

In my eycperience buying insurance is not a great problem from this or most other companies, it's when you have to deal with them when making a claim that matters! Until then you have no idea whether good bad or indifferent handling is appropriate.

The online quote system is easy. As is selecting which policy & purchasing. The area I do not like is I keep getting constant emails from 'Ian' at the company that has no relevancy to my policy. I cannot mark as junk as I brought an annual policy & may miss something important.

I haven't needed to use it to make a claim, but I hope that if I so need to, that the process is simple and very effective.

We recently wanted to upgrade our policy to worldwide cover for 7 days . We were charged £165 which we thought was excessive. The lady we dealt with was very efficient but it was hard to understand how they could justify such an additional cost.

Normally good but fell short today. Rang 4.54. No answer. After 5 minutes told I was in a queue. After 15 minutes, I gave up - suspect everyone had gone home!

3rd time used without any problems. But was a little disappointed this time to find a few days after getting insured with you, an offer of an upgrade to the next policy was repeatedly sent to my email address

Didn't need to claim but did feel the policy was more expensive than it needed to be considering the pre existing condition is managed but had to be declared so what can you do. Just another added difficulty of having a Disabled child.

We've traveled with TravelTime travel insurance before and had no issue's. But then I gave an average rating as it was easy to do. But I think IF it ever came to making a claim that's when we shall see how good they are.
