“Just returned from a wonderful trip to Jordan all organised by Travel Local. Speed & ease of booking were sensational from both UK & Jordan before i arrived in Amman; then it just got better!! The tour was organised on the basis of one on one which really did happen with a dedicated driver 24/7 plus expert guides at all the locations visited. I can only highly recommend this group for any trips you are contemplating.”

“We have just booked a trip to Costa Rica next February. We have had AMAZING service from TravelLocal via their local agent in Costa Rica. Mariana was able to accommodate our requests and make recommendations to add value to our trip. We were able to email back and forth despite the time differences and she responded immediately the next day. We were very particular about some aspects of our trip and she was able to arrange these. We stumbled across TravelLocal on the internet and I love the idea of supporting local agents and communities in their own countries. But its a win:win because the local agents know their country far better than an anonymous agent sitting in an office in the UK so we learnt of things to do and places to go that we hadn't even thought of. I would definitely (in fact I already have) recommend TravelLocal to others.”

“Love the ethics of this company...Have just booked to go to Costa Rica and having read quite widely about possible internal travel have been delighted to have help to plan exactly what we want to do. The concept of local people and local knowledge makes perfect sense.”

“I found the site through google when looking for a tailor made holiday in Indonesia. I completed the form and very quickly got a reply from their travel agent in Indonesia. The itinerary was close to what I was looking for but it was happily tweaked to make it just right. I look forward to the holiday. I prefer to use agents on the ground rather than UK companies so that more money goes into local pockets but in this case I was happy that travellocal is ATOL/ABTA so there is less risk than booking direct.”

“Laura & Vicky have helped us put together our perfect itinerary for our trip to Argentina. Quick to respond to any questions and had plenty of suggestions for what to include. The price was also competitive. I have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others.”

“This is the second time I have used a local travel agency for a bucket list trip to a new continent and I am sold on the concept. With travellocal.com, you start with an agency from the UK that assesses your request and places you with a local agent that they have vetted. You then work with a local company that customizes your trip until you are satesfied. Couldn't have been better.”

“Using travellocal for our trip to Vietnam was awesome! The communication with our local travel operator worked so well and they made several changes to our itinerary when we asked them too. They also helped to come up with other ideas that we hadn't thought of. I was also pleasantly surprised at the price of the trip considering we really didn't have to organise much ourselves.”

“I think the concept is excellent and I couldn't have been happier with Sole, who pulled together our wonderful itinerary in Costa Rica. Sole took into account my disability when putting the activities together too. I also decided to book my flights and spoke to the UK Travel Local team who were lovely and made the process really simple. I'm yet to go on my trip, but for now I am delighted with the service and cannot wait! Thank you!”

“Home now from our recent TravelLocal-coordinated trip to China, we can only say what we said after our previous holidays booked through the company - they do a fantastic job, and we are really looking forward to our next adventure (Morocco by Rail, January 2020). We had such a good time, enjoying both the itinerary we planned together with their Chinese agents and the company of our various guides as we travelled around. All our internal travel (mostly by train) worked like clockwork and our hotels were all very well chosen. We really appreciated the attention paid to our requests for things we wanted to do - and not to do (no shopping!) in the planning stages, and the prompt responses to any correspondence. Once again - a big thank you to everyone involved, and a very firm endorsement to anyone thinking of a first-time venture with the company - Go for it. You will be so pleased you did.”

“So far a great service.....only booked and paid deposit so not actually been on the holiday yet. Have dealt more with Story of India who I believe Travel Local use for holidays to India. “We visited Vietnam and Cambodia in March. Our second time travelling with travel local. Once again they did not disappoint we gave India trip 5 stars and now the same for Vietnam and Cambodia. The main thing for us was that we never had any point where we were concerned ,all drivers and guides waiting to meet us at every different point .We won't hesitate to use them again .”
