“From the first email I sent to travellocal.com, I was impressed with their excellent customer service. They were extremely helpful and put us in touch with a local agent in Mongolia. Even after all the arrangements had been made with the local agent, Tom still took the time to email and wish us well on our trip, and also gave us very useful advice from his own previous experience. Can't fault them at all, and would definitely use them again.”

“We booked a trip to Uzbekistan with Travel Local. There was lots of well-informed advice, with arrangements suited to our own needs and interests. We were not being herded around with lots of other Brits, but had a chance to meet local people and begin to get 'under the skin' of the country. We had a fabulous holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Travel Local - and already thinking about our next trip.”

“My husband and I travelled to India with TravelLocal. The booking process was great as we were immediately put in touch with local providers who were very knowledgeable about the area we were visiting and able to advise us on a good itinerary. We felt very well looked after throughout and well advised. During the holiday, the service was outstanding from our local operator. We had five star service with excellent guides and a fantastic driver. They were flexible and professional. I would use TravelLocal again in a heartbeat. It was good value with excellent service.”

“We have travelled to South East Asia with Travellocal. Our experience was the best possible, the lodges, transportations, guides and contact with local people and culture was better than expected. Very friendly and knowlegeble in the booking and reserve process, with hints and patience, during the trip every thing was smooth and nice, and they contacted us after we came to back, demonstrating how caring they are about their customers. We highly reccomend Travel local they are experts in authentic experience with the best prices!”

“Using Travel Local is a great way to travel. When planning our trips not only have we been able to benefit from the expertise of their local travel agencies in the countries we have visited, but also the itinerary has been tailor-made to include the things that interest us most. Direct communication with the local travel agents has always been fast and very efficient. Dealing with local travel agencies also means that any problem can be sorted out straight away. We love the concept of Travel Local and we will be booking again!”

“We have travelled twice with Travel Local, once to China and once to Mongolia. It is a brilliant way of using travel companies in the country you want to visit. Which means you get local knowledge and expertise, your money is going to the country yet your money is still ABTA protected. On the trip to China we went to Shanghai and the surrounding cities and all the logistics worked like a dream and we really saw what we wanted to see with a wonderful guide. In Mongolia we were travelling through the country, again all worked very well and again we had a terrific guide who showed us both the natural wonders of the country as well as the culture including meeting many of the local, very welcoming Mongolians. I throroughly recommend Travel Local as a way of getting a trip tailored to you but one that really gets under the skin of a country.”

“Travel Local took all the hard work out of our holiday in Thailand - including the planning. They were helpful, hard-working, polite and always there when needed. They allow you to liaise directly with the local travel company or, if there are questions and answers that get "lost in translation", then they will intervene to clarify things. Their service was excellent and the local company that they used in Thailand were always there at the right place, at the right time and on the dot. The holiday was tailored in a way that was very flexible....we were escorted when we preferred a guide but left to ourselves when it suited us better. Brilliant!”

“We were looking for a trip to 'the Stans' and by good fortune came across the name of Travellocal. Spoke to Huw who quickly grasped what we wanted and he put us in touch with their agent in Uzbekistan - she gave us a comprehensive itinerary which we were able to adjust and then agree. What a success. They had really listened, every driver and guide were where they should be at the appropriate time and were flexible, making the most of what the area had to offer. We had a wonderful trip to the five Stans - Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. It was such a good experience we have just booked with Travellocal again to visit Myanmar in Oct/Nov 2016.”
