“We ordered a traditional rustic oak beam which was one of the larger ones at 8 x 6 , I chose the Jacobean style staining. It goes absolutely beautiful with our gas log burner. It was fixed to the wall using the fittings which Catherine recommended [excellent customer service also] which was steel threaded rods. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to my friends and colleagues . Many Thanks Mike and Julie from Stockport”

“Purchased the Character Oak Facia Beam in Walnut 5.5ft - 7.5' x 1.5' and it looks amazing above our doorway. Easy to view styles and colours online although we did order two samples to colour match which arrived within a few days. Simple order process online, kept updated with production progress and dispatch with beam arriving within 7 days. Beautiful peice of wood, excellent quality. Fixing took a while to get exactly right but overall absolutely delighted with the end product.”

“I don't normally write reviews but I feel I need to do in this instance. Firstly the quality of the oak beam we have received is fantastic (we have actually had 2, as the initial beam was too dark - our fault). It finishes the room off perfectly. Secondly I just want to say the customer service has been exceptional, in particular Catherine who I have spoken to a number of times. The team went out of their way to fast track our second order and even sent photos before it was despatched to make sure we were fully happy with it. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to order an oak beam or fascia to go above their fireplace. Thanks again Traditional Beams 😀 Phil”

“Ordered a rustic oak beam for our fireplace. It was coloured in 'Jacobean' which turned out to be perfect. We had ordered the beam with the intention of then ordering some window sills to go with it - initially we wanted to see what the beam was like. It was absolutely gorgeous so we will definitely be placing the extra order. Thus far there has also been excellent communication. Highly recommended.”

“Very nice company to deal with on a persona service. I explained what I was looking for, they prepared the beam and sent me a series of pictures so that I could see and approve what was to be delivered. It arrived well wrapped. A significant differentiator from other companies I looked at to source a beam is their very reasonable delivery charges. The level of delivery charges on other companies just make buying from them uneconomic. Very good service and company.”
