I gave two stars because the radiator is stunning, however that is where the accolades cease. I was never told that a 'special' tool was required to assemble to radiator only to find out it involved a refundable £97 charge! I had to order it, my plumbers were on hold and FedEx failed to deliver the day it said it would. Now, I face the eprospect of having to pack up this 'tool' and ship it back. I'm furious. Shocking was to handle customer service.

We ordered a curved radiator and had to provide lots of measurements which they kept sending back to us with no guidance on how to get this correct. I spoke to Kim on numerous occasions who was always very abrupt and unhelpful. In the end I cancel the order of which Kim didn’t seem slightly bothered.

Thank you for your review Gail, I am sorry you feel this way. As these are bespoke items, and your bay is not a smooth curve, we do have to ensure the measurements are correct so that the radiator has the best fit possible. An example was provided to help give you guidance on this. We would never want to send out a product that is not suitable for you, especially as this is non returnable. Had to do a 1 and a half hour round trip to collect the rad from the courier depot... which is in Baldock! The rad is ok... but will not use again while they employ this shambles of a courier.

Not impressed. Radiator looked great, the plumber is here to hang it but when the element is screwed into the side we wanted, it is facing the wall ! seriously?? I was told it fits on both when I bought it. I would be sending it back but we can't waste any time and the plumber can't come back for months. So we've had to put it on the wrong side which faces the correct way and have the wire going accross.

Ordered a radiator which was shown and is still shown in stock on their website - however after just the radiator taps showing up - no email to say the radiator was out of stock and any kind of apology - I wondered where rest of it was - called them to be told it was going to be end of the month so 4 weeks - This is not good enough

We did email you the same day the order was placed to let you know that the warehouse had informed us that the radiator was out of stock and was due to arrive in around the end of June and we also offered you a discounted alternative, sorry if you did not see that. Any issues (including damages) should be reported to our Customer Service team ASAP to allow us the opportunity to rectify this for you. We could have sent you a replacement had we been given the opportunity to do so.

We ordered a bathroom radiator to go with our copper bath and chose the DQ curved Rosa in opper lacquer. Sales and ordering were great, delivery quick and well packaged. The item was great apart from the colour which was burnt orange and clashed with our copper bath. We notified our unhappiness immediately and arranged a return for a refund. Packed it up carefully in sa e packaging and arranged for parcel force to return. After days later we were notified that the item was damaged on arrival. We asked to seethe damaged packaging as part of the evidence needed for our claim but radio silence since. A refund has been refused. We are waiting to hear about our claim but expect if the packaging is not available we might lose our money.

Despite their website stating that there was more than 10 in stock, it took nearly 3 weeks to effect delivery of 1 radiator. Excuse was that a recent batch received had to be returned because of damage - truth ot lie, who can tell? And it was not until Trade Radiators were contacted that this information was passed to me. Poor customer service and would not use again.

Unfortunately these goods arrived in to us damaged and replacements had to be ordered for you causing a delay, this is certainly not our usual standards. Disappointed with the colour of the valves, totally different finish to what I viewed on the website, got told to send them back & reorder but i haven’t as it annoys me that I’ve got to foot the postage cost.

Having purchased a stainless steel towel rail & valves from TRADE RADIATORS and received an email confirming the transaction I was amazed to receive a further mail saying a further 42 pounds was required for shipping, (I live on the Isle of Wight) WHY was the transaction approved to start with? A second mail was sent saying the items were out for delivery. Phoning customer services, I was offered a full refund, fine, but I wanted the radiator...Trade Radiators would not honour the original price... The same day two valves arrived !! why send the valves without the radiator? The following day after reluctantly paying, the radiator turned up.. I am appalled a company can accept an order then demand more money, VERY DISAPPOINTED with Trade Radiators.

Thank you for your review and apologies you feel this way. We do advise in the delivery information on the website that free delivery only refers to mainland UK. The valves were delivered separately as different brands come from different suppliers, these small items were not subject to an additional courier charge unlike the radiators. Apologies none the less for any inconvenience this has caused you.

For a start i would advise the home powners to wear dark glasses so they dont see the mess of the floor boards, but one thing that gets on my nerves is not denailing the floorboards, one slip and that nail could be in your eye or anywhere else, not sure if i learnt anything from the video as he talked to fast.

Well before delivery, I called and left a message to call me as I wanted to change my order… No call was made, I was unable to change my order. I was also told that the delivery driver would call me an hour before, to let me know when delivery would be made, I wanted to be home to be able to check the item … No call was made, I was not home. The item was left with a neighbour … No note was left at my home telling me where my delivery had been left, neighbour had to contact me. I certainly hope that the item is in perfect condition (not yet opened it), I also hope that all the parts are included. I don’t know who made the delivery or when. The packaging does not appear damaged.

When arranging delivery, you were called and a specific date was confirmed with you to ensure it would be suitable and that someone would be available to accept the delivery. Chased my order on working day 7. Was advised that the order was ready for dispatch and that the courier would be in touch to arrange delivery over the next few days. Politely requested that if the courier had the goods then it would help me co-ordinate with the plumber if they could call back that day to arrange delivery within SLA. The operator said she would request that but could not guarantee it. I was disappointed by the lack of care and the 'hand off' of responsbility to another party when in fact my purchase was with Trade Radiators and not the courier. I have used Trade Radiators before and rated the products (hence my return custom) but in this case, a simple request has been handled poorly, when in fact it could have given me a much better customer experience with very little extra effort. In summary, good products but Trade Radiators' customer care seems to end when the order is handed over to the courier.

Really sorry about that Steven, some couriers can take a bit longer with Scotland deliveries as they do the routes less often which can delay a little occasionally. We are in Glasgow ourselves and find this equally frustrating, it's only certain products that ship this way (on pallets) so doesn't happen terribly often. Apologies for the inconvenience. Any future orders please mention this and my name (Julie Boyle) and I will ensure you get a generous discount. I have also applied a discount refund of £100 to this order for you. Sorry again.

Radiator was OK but disappointed 😥 that the electric element just came in a plastic bag with no protection. Will not know if damaged until fixed in Radiator and plumbed in. By that time will require lot of money to fix.

Insufficient instructions concerning left and right-hand thread on fittings. When fitting the valve or top vent you can be undoing the end cap as you tighten the fitting as threaded in opposite directions. To tighten even with a cloth to protect the paint it's just not possible as not flat so paint is removed. Chipped paint when delivered. Poor quality

The product was dangerous, someone had nicked the power cable with something like a Stanley knife about 50mm from the radiator to a depth that exposed both power and neutral cores. The whitecap doesn't locate onto the bottom of the radiator. After an e-mail & pic showing damage, & 2 chasing e-mails, they dispatched a replacement element which I now have to fit, and the whitecap doesn't locate onto the bottom of the radiator. Poor

I can see that as soon as you contacted us you received a response straight away and a replacement was dispatched the very next day.
