Bought the Saturn double style designer radiator. The radiator itself looks great but the brackets do not hold the radiator well. You're able to shake the radiator attached to the wall. Our plumber temporarily solved the issue by placing a piece of cardboard behind the radiator but certainly not what one would expect after spending over £100 on a all 'designer' radiator. If not for the hassle, I definitely would have returned it as I purchased a very similar style from another radiator company which had no such problems. I would think twice before ordering from here again solely based on the quality of the end product. Delivery time and communication however was excellent.

Hi Andreca, it sounds as though the plumber when fitting the radiator has forgotten to put on the little plastic spacers or 'c' clips which go on the brackets before placing the radiator in position, thus holding it in place. A quick call to our Customer Service team could have cleared the matter up for you straight away but unfortunately you didn't contact us so were unaware you were having an issue until you posted your review online. The towel radiator ordered on Friday arrived early Monday morning. The Items i.e. radiator plus valves were well packaged. Very pleased with the service so far. On the debit side when fitting the valve tails to the radiator body it was impossible to tighten them because of excessive clearance between the male and female threads; in fact the half-inch BSP male threads were 15 thous down on recommended size and were of parallel thread form not tapered. Using tape did not help. Solution as shown was to purchase two 15mm by 0.5" BSP tapered connectors. Job now done but did not need so much aggravation!

Service is fine - very fast. Sadly they were let down by the product - packaging in perfect order so no Enroute damage but poor quality product - lots of dents and marks on the radiator which must have passed the factory quality control - quite a let down for an expensive item. Poor quality wall brackets with huge inappropriate fixings that make wall hanging difficult - I think maybe they should be looking at these quality issues.

Towel rad turned up promptly and when package opened slight scratches and a dent was seen. Luckily they were out of sight!

Hi Olly, following your review I have had a look at your order to see if there were any issues with delivery. The 2 items you ordered (a towel rail and a convector radiator) were both delivered within the given time scales for those particular products. It may be a case of you not having read the info on the website next to each product and subsequently assuming that the convector radiator would be delivered next day like the towel rail that you ordered. We do clearly show on all products how long delivery usually takes and we have delivered within those time scales on your order for you. I hope this helps clarify things. I was happy with the radiator quality and delivery, my disappointment was the fact that it was stated on the website as having a btu output of 1756 btu' but the manufactures information states it is 1361 btu's, I assume the manufacturer should know the correct rating.

Thanks for your review, the factory calculated at delta 50 and we have to convert this to delta 60 as this has for many years been the British standard. Both outputs are correct. Julie (Manager)

It is too soon to know how the anti corrosion will last or whether the radiator will handle the usage in the winter months. As for the installation it was straight forward. The delivery was prompt.

I love the product, it's exactly what I wanted. I also appreciated a colour swatch being sent out before the order was processed, this worked out great for me as I ended up changing the colour of my order. The only downside was once I approved the swatch i expected to receive the radiator within 7 days as advertised and I arranged a plumber to install the radiator with this time frame in mind. I had to chase them on the 5th day to confirm and I recited a pretty rude phone call to say we wouldnt get it until the following week. No apology was offered and the adviser was pretty unhelpful about the whole sitaution considering. It was such a shame because until that point I was so pleased with them but if I needed more radiators I would have to think carefully about using them again.

Dear Emma, I called and left you a message as soon as you posted your review (before which we had no knowledge of there being any issue) but I haven't heard back from you. I have looked into the matter thoroughly and can confirm the following: we received your order 27/6, you subsequently changed your mind on colour but didn't return the signed colour approval form to Apollo until 14/7, you emailed the manufacturer Apollo Radiators at 10pm on 20/7 chasing (stating that the radiator had to be fitted that weekend). As (you know) those particular radiators are painted to order we cannot commence the painting until your written consent has been received. Apollo then advised you by phone that your delivery was scheduled for 26/7 which falls well within our advertised lead time of 7-10 working days. I understand that you booked your plumber ahead of organising the radiator but there was no delay with your order on our side. We had to wait for you to return your approval form before proceeding. All of the communication you have referred to in your review was in fact with Apollo and not us (Trade Radiators). Just received my radiator! though I had to pick it up at a layby near my house luckily I had transport to pick it up from! The lorry was too large for the country lane that I live down...this was after making Trade Radiators aware via an email and phone call that I lived down a narrow devon lane very frustrating.( By the way we have no promblems having oil delivered to us or our septic tan emptied we even have a hay lorry up and down the lane during harvest) I spoke to the driver as to what would have happened if I didn't have transport to pick the radiator up, the reply was "it wouldn't have been delivered" The delivery company that Trade Radiators use do not deliver on small vans I was informed, so there will always be a problem for anyone living down a narrow lane .TRADE RADIATORS NEED TO SORT THIS AND LISTEN TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. On a less frustrating note the radiator I ordered is of excellent quality and value for money.

The vehicle which made your delivery was in fact the 7.5 tonne small vehicle which we offer (instead of the usual larger trucks) and that you yourself had requested in your email, we then booked this smaller 7.5 tonne vehicle in as per your request. If you had called us to make us aware of any problems on the day of the delivery then we would of course have done our utmost to have it rectified immediately for you. As you had not called or emailed we had no knowledge of any issues regarding your courier delivery until you posted your review online. My only complaint is that we rang you 2-3 times to place an order because your online ordering system wouldn't accept our credit card but no one was answering so we left messages each time and nobody bothered to ring back!! You would have lost the order had we not gone on to Google "chrome" and eventually managed to place an on line order. Very frustrating at the time because we had a plumber on site waiting for said item. I wonder how much business you have lost with other similar customers?

I'm very sorry that you had problems getting through on the telephone. During extremely busy periods you may not be able to get through to an operator first time but we find that most customers usually call back shortly after and manage to speak to someone. Whilst I appreciate its a small family business and I should of read the T & C's I still believe the returns are expensive and I shop online a lot! I stand by the operator/receptionist was frosty and I never received missed calls. Will stick to local known brands in future. They follow up with a manager very promptly to discuss your comments.

Chrome towel radiator received well packaged. The supplied fixing kit had the wrong grub screws so I was unable to securely fix the radiator to the wall brackets. I contacted Trade Radiators about this by phone and they sent out replacement screws next day, however, these screws were also incorrect (although different to the originals). After a phone call they asked me to send a photo of the screws received and then again, replacement screws were sent out next day. Unfortunately these were the same as the screws that originally came with the radiator. Finally, after another email (which wasn't responded to), another complete fixing kit was sent out that included the correct screws. In summary: communication could have been better on resolving the issue, but they were at least responsive in terms of quickly sending out replacements. Shame that it took several attempts to resolve what should have been a simple issue.

Nothing at all wrong with the product. Good value, however getting the radiators delivered when I wanted them proved a lot of hassle. Firstly, the delivery time quoted for the radiators that we chose was misleading on the website and proved to be a lot longer than I had understood it to be. I emailed them and told them that I had a deadline on the delivery because the plumber was in a line of contractors and that if the delivery was late, it would affect a number of contractors and cause a lot of hassle. I was told that this wouldn't be a problem. The rads arrived as promised, minus one that they couldn't get!! I was told that it would be early the following week and that the moment it arrived in the depot, it would be sent out by express. There were a few days lee-way between the plumber and the furniture fitters, so I managed to move the plumber on. The last day that the radiator should have arrived, there was no sign of it. I rang and was told that they didn't have it and that they would check on when it could be delivered. The process was made more difficult by the original person I had been dealing with going away on holiday and customer services not being aware of the deadlines. II had to call again a few hours later to find out what was happening, by which time the radiator had miraculously turned up in the warehouse and was being despatched by express delivery for the next day. The next day came. I checked with the couriers about when it might be delivered and I was told any time up until 6pm and that they couldn't be more specific. Great!! Later in the afternoon the plumbers were talking about packing up, but by luck, the delivery arrived just in the nick of time. The moral is that if you use this company, check very carefully indeed that you have left plenty of spare time for delivery!!

We are terribly sorry that the experience was nowhere near as smooth as it should have been. The courier service has let us all down here which is not our usual standards at all. Radiator as specified, came very quickly. Only thing is that I was given a choice of valves just with a product number and they were the wrong ones for the radiator. My builder just picked up another set so I didn't worry about seeking replacements.

This relates to my recent order for the Deco Bar Satin: 1595mm x 500mm and related valves (MN16FT40129681). Service and delivery were quite good, although part of the order was omitted from the first delivery and I had to phone up about it - it was sent separately, promptly, with apologies. The product itself is now installed, but it is not perfect. Our plumber found that it was slightly distorted and therefore difficult to line up squarely, but said that this is not unusual with stainless steel radiators - evidently they are difficult to manufacture? If so this could perhaps also account for the slight ripple effect in some of the horizontals, and the fact that the spacing of them is very slightly uneven in places. Anyway, our plumber has done his best with it and it's more or less OK, but I'm afraid that for the above reasons I can't give a very enthusiastic review.

Ordered electric towel rail which came the day after I was told, this was not problem but I did specifically asked on the day I ordered the item and a few days before, when I enquired about delivery, but when the item it was not so we had to fill with water.

The radiator delivered was not what was ordered in as much as it did not match the description on the web site. Had I known this I could have ordered the cheaper variant perhaps. Delivery was very good. When I rang ti discuss the problem I was promised a call back which I never got. As I had the fitting scheduled there was not the opportunity to resolve tje description difference properly.
