“Ordered 2 towel rads , was showing instock , nothing arrived , i have phoned 4 times trying to sort it, was been told we will ring you back , never happened , rang again and changed the order was told i would get them the next day , still not got them , i am fuming and just want it sorted out , i would not recommend using this company”

“They provided fair value for money but damage to a heating element suggested packaging not top class. Therefore acceptable no more.”

As soon as you let us know the element had been damaged in transit we immediately sent a replacement out for delivery the following day. All items are very well packaged therefore transit damage is kept to an absolute minimum but can of course happen from time to time. “Delivery was fast although I refused to accept the first radiator sent out because the box was damaged with various puncture holes. The second box was also slightly damaged but I decided to accept it. I ordered a Wentworth heated electric towel rail. The instructions were for a duel fuel rail and were pretty useless. I had to ring up to find out how much of the antifreeze to use and was told to use the whole bottle which seemed too much compared to the amount of water needed as it didn't correspond with the instructions on the bottle. We didn't realise that the black plugs needed to be exchanged for the screw valve so we lost a lot of the antifreeze/corrosion before we realised it was leaking. We assumed that the flat head groove threaded stoppers were to be screwed into the plugged holes where taps would be and the nut shaped stopper was to be screwed in the hole at the opposite end to the element fitment where we filled the rail. As I said, the instructions were useless. Also, when we turned it on and waited for the red light to become solid, I burned my arm on it - it was like touching a freshly boiled kettle - not sure if it should get this hot! Another point is the cheap and nasty plastic thermostat - we expected it to be better quality for the price. It feels as though it could break with the slightest knock. However, it's not all negative....the rail looks fabby and seems to be very good quality. Once we have mastered how to use it and the bathroom is finished, I will send photos of it and hopefully write a more positive review for your website. I have given it 4 stars so far because of the rubbish instructions and plastic thermostat, but I cannot fault Trade Radiators for service.”

Dear Karen, I have had a look at your order and you have not contacted us or notified us of any damages (the first we have heard is from your review posted online). We of course do not send out damaged radiators so it may have happened in transit with the courier. We have simple procedures in place as per our T&Cs for goods damaged in transit and have emailed you re same. “waited months for order to be complete ie. from paying to receiving rads; ordered and paid for items listed as 'in stock'; then had to make substantial changes because I was later informed by email - radiators paid for were out of stock; after making changes - received further emails saying that items from new order were out of stock; still waiting for items for one rad from original order - further emails to say it will be sent when 'in stock'. Had I known from the outset before paying my money that I would be waiting months for goods and that the items ordered were actually not in stock - I would have gone elsewhere. Poor service all round.”
