“Exceptional support from Dave from the initial contact to completion. Dave was on site many times ensuring all went well and making sure I was happy with how things were going, I could not have asked for more. We had 14 panels, a 9.5kW battery, a car charger and a solar diverter fitted. The team involved were very professional throughout. Matt the electrician made sure everything was as we wanted it. The roofer Mike noticed I had a few broken roof tiles so when he installed the panels he changed them for new ones. All work was completed to an excellent standard. Matt ensured that the kit had the latest firmware uploaded, was fully commissioned and explained to me. He also made sure that the apps for the kit were working correctly on my phone. Once completed the team removed all rubbish and fully cleaned up after themselves. Excellent workmanship. On completion, Dave came around to do the SEG application and to make sure I was happy with everything. In addition to this, he has done ALL of the relevant paperwork. There were no additional charges for anything either. The price I was quoted (very competitive) was the price I paid. I am very happy with how it all went. I cannot recommend Dave and his team highly enough. Professional, honest people; quality workmanship, and support throughout at a very good price.”

“I was recommended to speak with TCL Solar from my son and daughter-in-law. They had there solar system installed 12 months ago. I wanted to wait one full year to see the actual amount they saved. I have to say I’m very impressed with how much they saved off their yearly bill. I can see why they used TCL Solar for the installation, such a great company to deal with.”

“I was very impressed with TCL. Every member of staff I dealt with was very helpful and friendly. Simon came out to do a site survey (which not all companies do), offered a competitive price and within a few weeks the installation was complete. I would definitely recommend the company for a trustworthy and reliable service.”

“TCL was our preferred choice from five different companies who I asked to quote for our package comprising 20 panels plus inverter and 7Kw battery, two were online and three including TLC (Simon Pearson) made home visits. Prices varied by over 50% from lowest to highest so do shop around and despite a delay from the date of the quotation to our obtaining the required funding they were the only ones to honour their quote without any increases and still maintain their timescale for the work to be completed. In addition where as some companies wanted up to 40% deposit TCL asked for £1000. The whole process was extremely straightforward and completed on the date promised with no issues, Simon kept us up to date throughout and always replied promptly to any questions we raised either by email or by phone/text, something which is rare these days. From the delivery of the panels and batteries the Friday before to their team arriving promptly on Monday morning I couldn't be happier, the team were polite and friendly and the whole installation took just over four hours and we began to see savings on our electricity usage from the moment the system went "live".”

“I have no hesitation in highly recommending TCL and David + Simon. Both did an excellent job of making me feel supported and listened to. Before meeting Simon (sales chap) I had met with several other companies and been 'told' what I could have, Simon listened and discussed fully all options keeping an open mind and we together agreed on the best solution. TCL's price was by far the best I had and combined with wanting to support 'local and small companies' it was an easy decision to go with them. System (16 panels + battery) was installed easily in a day and the installation guys did an excellent job! 12/10 for all-round effeciency! Richard”

“Solar panels fitted yesterday on a very windy day. They arrived on time and worked all day in terrible conditions. By the time they were finished it was dark so could not test it, but should be all up and running tomorrow. Simon has been great throughout the whole process. Really pleased with everything”

“We highly recommend this company. If you want excellence, honesty and reliability then this is the company to use. Simon explained how the system worked and we didn’t feel pressured at any time to purchase this system. TCL delivered to schedule and the installation team were brilliant, they were hard- working, efficient, polite and left everywhere clean and tidy. They explained how the system worked before they left and also contact numbers should we have further questions.”

“T.C. L. are definitely the best solar company. We couldn't have found a nicer team anywhere . A very informative introduction with no pushy sales tactics from a genuinely nice guy Simon. The price was competitive and as promised delivered to the exact date. The installation team were extremely efficiently and the workmanship was superb. “From our initial contact through to installation, TCL Solar have been brilliant. Simon visited us to scope the project and quote within days of our initial email and we had our install booked a few days later. The install team were polite, thorough and did a great job. Everything was done so neatly as well. They even tidied up after themselves! The panels look great. Highly recommend.”

“I highly recommend TCL they are a superb company Simon and David are true gentlemen and nothing is to much trouble, there were issues during the install nothing to do with them but they bent over backwards to help, the team that installed the solar panels were first class and again super helpful. “Quote very competitive when compared to others. Installation planned for 13th Dec 22. All required kit was delivered 2/3 days before installation. The scaffold was erected early 12th Dec 22 in freezing conditions. The installation team arrived early on 13th Dec 22 still freezing. The guys were very professional and polite. The whole installation was completed to a high standard by mid-afternoon on the 13th Dec which included some extra work on the roof to remove two sun tubes. (see photos attached). System monitoring was set up on my phone and I was shown how to use it. The scaffold was removed on 16th Dec. All in all a very satisfying experience from start to finish.”

“I requested 5 different quotes for my solar panel and battery installation and TCL Solar were the only company that bothered to visit our property in person to discuss my requirements, take indicative measurements and provide informed solutions. Their quote was received the next day and actually offered the most competitive price compared to the other companies for similar solutions. After I had chosen TCL Solar their communications has been excellent and all items were delivered as scheduled. The scaffolding was erected as planned and the solar panels installed the following day by Matt & Mike who worked from 8am to 6pm in freezing temperatures. They were very polite and respectful and just got on with the job. The scaffolding was removed as planned and everything left neat and tidy. Overall I would strongly recommend TCL Solar for this type of installation.”

“This is one of those occasions when the reviews proved to be spot on. From the start, Simon who overseas the sales did not try to blind us with science or unrealistic figures (refreshing). The installation process was smooth and the various contractors came as scheduled, were curtious clean and efficient. The various displays which need to be in the house are neat and unobtrusive. Both my wife and i will be singing there praises to anybody who may be interested in solar. Thank you TCL”

“TCL were a brilliant company to deal with, they took their time to explain the options, what each part of the system does and what would be best for us in terms of our circumstances and expectations. Simon visited us and took measurements and photographs to ensure the installation crew knew what they were dealing with. Prior to installation, we had the Panels/brackets and inverters delivered, Simon let us know the delivery dates before this occurred and he also arranged for a scafold crew to be onsite the day before installation. The scaffold crew were on time, polite and worked in a very tidy manner and again they let us know when they would be back to take the scaffold down. The installation crew arrived at 8 am as expected and quickly and quietly got to work, always careful to ensure limited mess and moved around our house in such a way as to ensure our dog did not get out. The standards of the installation crew were superb, ensuring all cabling was neatly affixed to the walls, and trunking was used where cable runs are exposed to the elements. At every stage of the Installation, the TCL team have communicated with us excellently, even post-installation Simon is available for any questions and queries we may have.”
