“I have been ordering corals from Top Shelf Aquatics for several years. I've always been happy with the quality of their product. Particularly how healthy the specimens are and TSA's meticulous attention to sending pestfree corals. I want to specifically comment on their customer service. I've often called with questions about corals, orders, sale prices, shipping, etc I almost always speak to Ernesto, who not only is amazingly knowledgeable, but so kind and pleasant to have a conversation with. He's one of the many reasons that I continue to shop at Top Shelf.”

“Order #147945 I recently placed an order through Top Shelf Aquatics for a Neptune Systems Apex pH probe. Unfortunately, the item I received was an ORP probe instead. I did not realize that the wrong probe had been sent initially. I opened the package, installed the probe, and connected it to my Apex system. When I received an error message and began troubleshooting, I realized that the probe was actually an ORP probe rather than the pH probe I ordered. I wanted to reach out to see what the next steps would be to resolve this. I would prefer to receive the correct Apex pH probe, but I would also be willing to accept store credit if that is easier. Please let me know how you would like me to proceed with returning the incorrect probe and getting this resolved. Thank you for your help. Best, Dr. Gordon”

“I had my first experience with Top Shelf, i was looking for awesome Acroporal corals, I called and they connected me with Steve, The guy was more than amazing. He picked amazing pieces for me and directly contacted me. The corals pieces that I received were more than i have expected, the box, packaging and labeling was impressive to say the least. “Everything I ordered looked fantastic and was packed exceptionally well. One coral was already bleaching when it arrived. I paid for the extra protection, but it was a waste of money since said coral finished bleaching the next 2-3 days and I emailed the company 3-4 times and got no response. I would order again from them but I guess don’t expect a reply if something happens and you need them to make it right.”

“I'm a long-time reefer and have purchased both corals and equipment from Top Shelf. I've never been disappointed. All purchased arrived by 10:00 am the next business day, if ordered earlier enough the previous day. No DOA, and no broken equipment. Great packing for both livestock and equipment.”

“Everything was fine till I ask to return a cable because ordered the wrong one. So after I answered the same questions 3 times. They finally let me return the cable for exchange so they received the cable I payed the difference for the cable I needed. And that’s where everything stopped, a week later no shipping notification, and 6 or 8 attempts to find out where my cable is. There not email refuses to even recognize my order number… I’ll never deal with this place again.”
