“Top Shelf *was*,in my opinion, a great place to buy from. Original purchases were made via traditional means, purchase online, ship to me. All was great! UNTIL, I left something in my cart and they graciously reached out personally and offered a discount! Great! This continued for about $5000 in many purchases until one day, I was lied to. I caught them in the lie, and they only defended the lie and the made more lies as an excuse. I operate on honesty, and have not since done business with them. Mistakes happen, so just own them. Hopefully this review may spark some remorse, but I doubt it.”

Something seriously needs to be said about the size of the frags you receive for the price it’s honestly laughable compared to what you can get at a show or other lesser known online retailers.
The peacock pectinia I ordered came in half dead with coraline growing in the Skelton, I figured I’d try to revive it but it unfortunately didn’t make it. I just feel like for the prices you pay you should atleast receive healthy frags that are not coming out half dead already, just seems shady.

“My first experience was great and everything arrived healthy. This time one wrasse was dead, the second one was nearly dead and didn’t survive the acclimation. The tang is extremely thin and weak and I’m unsure it will survive. As I said the first time was great so we currently it’s been a 50/50 outcome.”

It was pretty hard to get the nudi out of the cup though i think one might have not survived but yk ig u could say thats my fault bc i didnt have ig a nudi grabber lol but good thing i got 2 pretty sure they are both good though chillin in there somewhere. “They have good, healthy corals that I think have been cultured “long enough” (at least what I purchased). Had a tank upgrade recently followed by a nuisance outbreak and the corals I had from TSA through that period bounced back just fine despite losing some of their own real estate. FWIW I buy cheaper, smaller, classic stuff. All shipped real well with the nicest acclimation sheet I’ve ever seen. All other non-coral purchases ship expediently as well. TSA has definitely earned my eye when I have an itch, whether I need new corals and end up buying or just window shopping.”
