“I was really happy with the service, I got the paint I needed that I could not find anywhere else and it was delivered efficiently and extremely well packed/protected to avoid any leaks. Top class service and would highly recommend”

Good afternoon Mike, To reiterate our sincere apologies for the delay in receiving your paint. Thank you for accepting my call a few minutes ago. To confirm what Parcelforce have indicated and you have acknowledged; - Parcelforce sent a sms/text message 08.33 on Friday 24th confirming a delivery timeslot for 24th September. - At 11.09 a.m. on 24/9/2021 the delivery was attempted to be made but nobody was in to receive the item (you heard the doorbell but were indisposed). - At 11.23 a further sms was sent by parcelforce confirming the delivery attempt and redelivery scheduled for the “next working day”. - Your consignment was then returned to the depot for redelivery, Saturday and Sunday’s are not considered "working days" by Parcelforce and so a further attempt was scheduled for 27th September. - On 27/9/2021, at 11.58 a.m. an attempt to deliver the goods was made but nobody was there to receive the consignment. A card would have been left inviting collection and explaining what the options were for you. I fully understand your frustration at the delivery delay but think the 2 star review for tools-paint.com, through no fault of our own making, is a little unfair but will respect your views. I am sorry for the delay but we could not have done anymore. I do hope that this will not deter you from giving us another try in the future. Thanks and kind regards from the team at tools-paint.com

“As long as paint manufacturers supply large tins of paints which sit half or near empty after use, then buying a smaller tin to decant the left overs seems like a good way to preserve the paint for any future use.”

Hi Paul, thanks for taking my call a little earlier, I would like reiterate my apologies for the delay you received on this order and that we did not perform as well as you anticipated. I have subsequently looked into the situation and your order was placed on Sunday 22nd August, we try and dispatch in a 3-5 days lead-time. The paint was dispatched on the fifth day, Friday 27th. As this was the August bank holiday weekend it did not arrive with you until the Tuesday 31st. Five-day dispatch from us resulted in a nine-day delivery period. This is not an excuse but a genuine reason and needless to say we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations. I do take encouragement from some of your comments that you will give us a further opportunity in the future. I hope my telephone call earlier and this public apology goes some way in terms of us getting back to and even keel. Thanks again for taking the trouble to review us.
