“I was disappointed to find, when I received my specially mixed Zinsser paint order, that it was gloss rather than the satin I had ordered. Especially as it was needed for work I was doing over the next couple of days. I rang around 9.30 on the day of receipt to request a replacement expecting the difficulties that are so often the case with some companies. So I'd like to thank you for being so helpful on the phone and for actioning things so quickly that I received the replacement at 9am the following day. I have been in marketing and customer care for many years and we explain to companies that a mistake provides an opportunity to impress customers - if it's handled properly. Yours certainly was, and is one of the best examples I've seen of excellent customer care - especially as I am a first time and small customer. Thanks again and I'm sure your approach will help make your company increasingly successful. Regards Jeff Smithers”

“Ordered some Garden paint, and it came quickly and well packaged. I had some unneeded products that needed returning and they quickly refunded. Only downside is that some paints are mixed on site and therefore cannot be returned, but this was explained before purchase”

“Tools-paint were the cheapest suppliers of Cuprinol wood preservative that I could find. Ordered 3 x 5 litre cans that were delivered 2 days later. Excellent value and service. Will use them again and recommend them to all.”
