“Very happy to post a positive review for Tools-paint.com! I bought some Dulux paint that is no longer made, and so Tools-paint made it up for me, and sent it, extremely well packaged. The paint is a pretty much perfect match. I had painted four rooms with the paint colour, and would otherwise have had to completely repaint them all in a different colour after minor building works to each of these rooms. Thanks very much!”

“I purchased what was meant to be a special edition paint “days at the beach “ which is part of the “travels in colour “ range by Dulux. Having scoured the internet to find it it became obvious that that range was discontinued but I thought that my luck was in when I found it on Tools-paint , so purchased 4 tins of the pearl grey and when they arrived at my house I was disappointed to find out that they had just mixed up paint on their machine and it wasn’t genuine tins labelled with what I was looking for, I’ve not opened them yet to see if it’s the same as the colour I have in my home but disappointed because I could’ve just nipped into my local b&q and purchased the same thing, for me that is false advertising which should not be allowed.”

We are an authorised Dulux distributor and this paint is mixed on a Dulux mixing machine using official Dulux bases, colourants and formulae, so customers get exactly the same product as if it had come from the factory. To say it is not a genuine tin is 100% inaccurate, and you cannot get this product from your local B&Q because they don't have Dulux mixing machines. In addition, the advert clearly states this colour will be mixed here (because it has indeed been discontinued as a factory made item).

“Ordered 2 tins of varnish, after reading the website realized that the order would take longer than anticipated but was encouraged by the website to contact them and they would do what they could to assist, I emailed them politely and received a very short do not care response saying it would be middle of next week! Middle of next week has arrived and the site says they are processing the order!!!! Reading the reviews find it VERY HARD to BELIEVE so many people have a fantastic service all the reviews are very similar, find this suspicious. Would be grateful to be given a delivery date.”

“Ordered 6 x 5 litre pots of dulux over £230 . Every pot has leaked through the lid. Heavy pots packed in really flimsy boxes very loosely packed on polystyrene noodles. All pots had slipped off the noodles and had spent entire journey at a 45° angle. Must have been a nightmare for the delivery guy. Contacted 'Tools-Paint.com'. No response. No interest in their products or customers as far as I can ascertain. Just shippers. I would avoid this company. Have purchased some more paint online. This time from Dulux. Arrived in perfect condition. Sensibly packed. Take a lesson in customer service Tools-Paint from Dulux. Avoid this company Tools - Paint buy direct from the manufacturer not from these shoddy couldn't care less shippers. I find the generally glowing reports for Tools-Paint on this review site VERY VERY HARD TO BELIEVE. All so glowing and many similar in content. Extremely suspicious.”
