Despite being given a delivery day of Tuesday or Wednesday ,it was still not delivered by Thursday - obviously that's bad. However an Email on Thursday lunchtime was quickly followed by an apology & an immediate 1st class response which I got the next morning - that's good. One of the major decisions in choosing who to buy from is how prompt the despatch is - nothing earns more loyalty than that from me, so we'll see !

Order process frustrating as I didn't know postage until checkout. Delivery quick. But item not packed at all and parcel force left pricey new cordless trimmer by my front door in full view. If item had been wrapped it would have helped and meant box would not be damaged, not that that matters really.

Item ordered arrived with a broken part. Not a major component so I just asked if tooled up could send are placement of the broken part. Received a quick response bureau told there was nothing they could do about it, I would have to return the whole item. Didn't want the hassle. I'm the customer. Tooled up should have taken the hassle and traced the component through to the manufacturer and sent it to me. Obviously too much hassle for them. I dropped it and accepted the item Ruth a small broken component. 2 out of 10 for customer service.

I was a bit disappointed by how long the delivery took but when it arrived it was well packaged.

Had to put normal at the moment because item came badly damaged and I now have to wait for you to receive the damaged item back and wait a further several days for my replacement. Not overly happy but you are not to blame for damage as could of been done in transit so I guess we will see how good your service is when my new hopefully undamaged pump finally arrives

I ordered 2 items from your website When received only 1 item was received . When I contacted your company I was advised that both items had been scanned out of the warehouse and they would look into it. I had to go back to your company and explain i need the other item for a job. I was then told the other item will be dispatched to me. I was disappointed with the service as it was the first time I had used you

HI Arrive very quick , BUT after a phone call in morning to check that the doormaster lock had a 20 mm faceplate DID EXPECT TO GET ONE WITH A 20 MM BUT NO I GOT A 15 MM DELIVERED WHICH I DID MACK DO BUT I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I sent an email about the unfair postage charges and how very unfair it was to charge double postage for a second item "which i withdrew from my initial order" I have unsubscribed from tooledup.com so could you please delete my details after the item is accepted on next tuesdays delivery. thank

Hi, thank you for your review, we have checked your order and can see that due to your Scottish Highlands Postcode the P&P charge would have been added into the basket immediately you selected the product and added the correct postcode. We never attempt to hide any of the P&P charges on the few orders that we actually charge P&P.on.They are openly displayed at every stage of the order process unlike many websites. This gives the customer the choice of proceeding with their purchase or not as they see fit. It is an unfortunate fact that all carrier companies charge an added premium to any goods being delivered to the Highlands and Islands Postcodes and unfortunately in this case we could not offer free P&P. hi there,have received the transformer and the casing around one of the sockets is broken,it must have been dropped in transit,its just the outer casing part on one can still use it ,the flap over the socket has broken and as i said the outer casing on one is broken, is it possible to obtain the outer casing for one of the sockets,should be easy to replace it has four phillips screws in it,i can do that myself,if you have a damaged one around i would like the outer casing if possible,or tell me where i can get one,thanks ROBERT GLENDINNING

The Janitor Janitolarrived in good time, glad to see Parcelforce being used, they have good local knowledge and can find tricky locations like ours. Despite asking not to receive email advertising Tooled Up decided to start sending them anyway. Boring.

A mixed experience; excellent service redeemed a poor start. I ordered a Lenser bike light that I had specifically liked.....waited 1.5 weeks wondering where it was......the day before I had decided to phone Tooled Up they phoned me to say the light was no longer available. That was the poor service as they shouldn't be selling something that doesn't exist??? The customer service people ( mainly Baz) were professional, very efficient and friendly, checked out the replacement (later, upgraded) model of light which was promptly sent to me at the same price as original order.

I purchased new sanding drums for my Bosch PRR 250 ES, no problems with the product and they were sent quickly. Unfortunately the carrier had to phone me to ask where I lived as only the Street name and district were on the package not the full address as on the bill, fortunately I had included my phone number on the delivery instruction
