Unfortunately I was expecting a steam cleaner so it has had to be returned The rope and attachments received earlier were great

Courier used parcel force telephoned at 9am to say the would be a delivery that day. Stayed in all day. Had another call at 17.30 to say the parcel would be delivered between 18.00 and 19.00. Not best pleased with courier communication. Wasted a day waiting for delivery

I ordered the pruner 30 minutes before next days delivery according to website but it arrived at the end of the day 2 days later. If website cloxk says its within next day tgat shoukd have happened.

Took a long time to possess and despatch. Bit when it finally crawled through the system. Everything was fine. Good quality. Well packed. Would use again but not if I was in a huge hurry for the tool.

Hi Timothy, thank you for your review, we are sorry that your order appeared to be a long time arriving but it was despatched within our advised timescale. We list over 65,000 items many of which are in stock and despatched immediately but we include many that are hard to get or simply not listed elsewhere because they have a longer lead time. We did advise a 5-7 working days despatch time on the particular part you had ordered because it was out of stock at the time you ordered it and this particular item comes from France. On checking the despatch schedule we can see that we actually despatched the goods on day 6 so within our advised schedule. Thank you for your order. Regards, tooled up

Product looks good. Pity the courier failed to take heed of delivery instructions in the event that no-one was in. So instead goods were returned to Post Office, where they were not available until a day later, which was too late.

Hi John, thank you for your review, however we think you may have reviewed the wrong company? We have checked your order, it was despatched on the day we received the order and delivered the next day and we did not charge you anything for postage? You then placed another order which again was despatched the same day it was received. This did attract a P&P charge as it was sent by next day carrier. The P&P charge was advised at the basket stage, we always do this thus allowing the customer to choose to go ahead or not with that order. spirit level seems ok but Disappointed with delivery service supposed to be delivered on Friday as i was waiting to use it, it arrived on Monday PM they said no one was in (but there was) they give it to next door neighbors

The grease gun and flexible hose I ordered arrived within three days and I was happy they arrived in a timely manner. However, despite assurances from your technical team that the hose was compatible with this particular gun, there was no way I could connect it. Contacting your technical team again, they confirmed my findings and said that I needed a different gun to use with the flexible hose. The team member I spoke to was very helpful and is arranging for me to return the items. Overall I am disappointed in being given incorrect information when I placed the order.

The site was clear and the value for money was excellent. Goods were delivered quickly however, the checkout process left a lot to be desired. The first time I tried to checkout the site failed to complete. To be fair it did warn that the order may have gone through and that I should check for a confirmation email or phone the company for confirmation. As it was late on Tuesday evening I decided to wait a bit and see if an email arrived but none came. I decide to order again as even if I recieved two items I reckoned I could make use of them. This time the order went through OK but I did not receive a confirmation email. On Thursday morning two items were deliver by post. On the plus side.....ease of ordering, good price and speed of delivery. On the minus side..Problems with checkout and no confirmation email.

Goods arrived safely, tested and all ok. only problem was, I ordered the product on friday because it said order for next day delivery which i did because i needed it saturday. it didn't turn up until monday. i thought it was a bit misleading stating next day delivery. very disappointed with this as i had to make other arrangements to get me by.

Asked for review before item arrived! Then received call at 7.26 am (asleep) to say arriving that day, the 4th August. Did arrive 12.30pm. Seems OK cutting small (20mm) and trying to get used to 'swivel handle' - should be a useful addtion to our garden tools. Brian, Canfield

Delivery driver went to wrong house, called the company and they told me he would be back within the hour, Driver never showed up. I rang again and they spoke to the driver and he said he would deliver my parcel after he had finished his round at about 6 pm. But he did not show up.

Hi, thank you for your review, we have checked the details of your order. The delivery did fail as the Driver went to the wrong house. After you contacted us we arranged for the Driver to go back at the end of his round as you requested. However in the meantime your partner had gone onto the DPD website and arranged for the parcel to be left at a local collection point. We have now ,as you have requested ,arranged for the item to be returned to us for a refund as you could not collect the package from the chosen collection point. We are sorry that the original delivery went wrong but do feel that we tried to help and had got the problem sorted when it was re-arranged at your end. Great service once goods ordered.Delivery tracking excellent. However,I did call twice with a question and was put through to a call centre or similar who said they would call me back after consulting with the technical department.But on both occasions nobody bothered to call me back.A lot to be desired here.

Good dispatch / delivery and communication regarding that, however due to missing parts (no fault of Tooled-Up) return / refund matters receive no prompt attention / communication ..... hence the Normal rating above.

the goods were delivered in the time stated but to follow your instructions for tracking I found no way on the site link that even mentioned tracking, my first bit of fast garbled information came from an automated telephone voice that you had great difficulty to understand. Hi William, thank you for your review, although we must admit to some confusion as we do not use any automated message systems so can only assume that you called the carriers after receiving their delivery advice? The carriers we used on this occasion do advise 90 minutes before delivery with an e-mail and/or txt if the information is provided by yourself. Thank you for your order. Regards, tooled up

The system worked well enough at the stage of placing the order on Thursday 16th July but order tracking was slow to kick in. Goods were delivered on time following a pre-advice on Wednesday 22nd July timed at 8.29am that delivery would be made between 11.40am and 12.40pm. Not really enough prior notice. Goods were delivered in the advised time window and were securely packed in undamaged packing. I have certainly had better service on many occasions, hence the 'Normal' rating
