Delivery received quickly but only one battery. Box says two batteries enclosed-?I asked why and Lisa rapidly replied and said it was a 'typo'. I've asked how to qualify for a second battery but have not yet received a reply....? Delivered by dhl and left on doorstep in full public view as their photo shows although I asked for it to be left in greenhouse-? Dodgy as you have to tick a box accepting full resposibility. Also parcel tracking claimed it had been 'signed for'- impossible as no one home! I've mailed dhl but no reply as yet. Not very secure service.

I see they charge VAT on Shipping and then use Royal Mail, btw there’s no VAT to claim from Royal Mail, I emailed Tooled Up and had no response, poor customer service. So seems these guys are profiting from the VAT being charged on RM shipping costs.

Ordered a Bosch Isio III Telescopic Handle. The item arrived promptly the following day. Unfortunately, after partially unpacking, noted that part of the fixing was broken but there was nothing of the broken part in the packaging. Spoke to Tooled-Up and they organised a return collection on my date if choice but could only offer pickup between 8am and 6pm. Packaged collected on specified date at 11.45am. Was advised a replacement could not be sent, only a refund processed in 5-7 days after receipt of item. I would have to order again. Also asked if operation of handle could be explained but was not mentioned in any response. Shame as I was really looking forward to using the handle.

Had to stand outside for 20 minutes at about 10am even though shop opened at 8. Order wasn't ready and had to wait another 20 minutes. Do not recommend. Other similar have better service.

Order system was great, items were despatched quickly and communication was good. The hedge trimmer however was poorly packed the box was partly destroyed and I was worried about the quality of the parts. Disappointing delivery experience

Thought I was ordering with the four attachments pictured, but I only got one. Looked at the order again and realised. Would have been much cheaper at Screwfix. Nearly didn't buy because postage was Highlands and islands.

My order arrived swiftly and well packaged but the free detergent concentrate that came with it (and which swayed me to order with Tooled-Up) has a use by date of 24/04/22. Tooled-Up advise me it’s ok to use but I’ve raised an enquiry directly with Bosch as I don’t want to invalidate the warranty on my cleaner. Bosch are currently investigating and I await their response.

I buy direct from merchants to support UK suppliers. Hugely disappointed that my parcel arrived via Amazon Delivery Services.

A very reliable company, regarding products, prices and customer contact/help, but delivery to the Channel Islands leaves something to be desired. My order of 7 November did not arrive until, today, 18 November with carrier DHL. In the 'old days', when purchases came by Parcel Force, delivery was within 3-4 days, but I suppose their charges are higher than DHL

Really happy with service from Tooled-Up and quality of product. However I had an issue with delivery by Amazon Shipping: the package was delivered a day later than agreed and I was not kept updated about this by Amazon Shipping.

The online economy has been operating for a couple of decades now. There are features of it that are givens: selecting an item for purchase; paying for the item electronically; automatic order confirmation; delivery. (There are others that ought to be givens, such as easy returns.) I bought a lawnmower online from tooled-up. The first three of my givens were as expected. Delivery was chaotic. Amazon first told me delivery would be on the Monday, then it was the Saturday (when I would be out), then it was back to Monday; then on the Saturday I got a message that Amazon would try to deliver that day, then I logged in and tried to change the delivery option, then I got a message delivery would be on the Monday, then I got a phone call from the courier that he was outside my house (when I wasn't there). I finally got the delivery with the help of my neighbour. I don't blame the courier, but Amazon needs to sort out its systems.

Ordered roller one of the ends bent in , no clips in the packaging so had to use my own, the damage I can only guess done by courtier

We were quite pleased to find the mower we ordered from you (Gardener Handymower) for its uniqueness in only being designed to mulch, with no collecting box, and consequently being very light. We were very disappointed when we couldn't get it to work, but pleased that you quite readily took it back, with the assumption that you would supply us with a replacement. We were surprised that you didn't offer us a replacement, but only gave refunds, regardless of whether it was faulty or not. This has left us wondering if you consider that we have done something wrong and that you would rather we went somewhere else.
