The product turned out to be a standard size connector. The picture on the site shows a black fitting which was originally non standard. The modern grey, standard fitting was actually delivered and is of no use.

Not delivered yet by DHL. Their Tracker said delivery on Friday, but nothing. Then no delivery yesterday (Sat) was followed by an apology on their Tracker. Let’s see what happens tomorrow, but not confident..!!!!

I was not impressed with the packaging, as there was none. The item was placed in a empty cardboard box with no protective packaging. Fortunately, there was no damage that I could see.

My order arrived with missing parts, I phoned your customers help centre and the lady there told me to send a photo of the order as recieved and to list the missing parts. I done this yesterday at 12.30 and as of now I have only recieved an automated answer. Not pleased with this service as I am waiting to use the strimmer.

Excellent service and speed of delivery. My gripe is over the exorbitant delivery charge to my area. Tooled-up blame this on carrier surcharges. Funny, but I cannot find a similar excessive delivery surcharge from other tool suppliers; who also had my item in stock. Regret purchasing now from this seller.

Made a mistake with battery compatibility bought bare tool. Phoned to ask about paying a top up for the battery and changer told I’d have to return tool, pay postage and restocking as item was opened and then buy boxed set of battery and tool together. Turned out to be nearly as expensive as buying another tool with a comparable battery and charger. Did this. New tool turned up in an opened box, marked “bare tool only” and charger and battery loose in the parcel. Awkward, tight and unhelpful. Won’t be using again

wrong item supplied, fair enough mistakes happen but it's how you deal with it. I returned it the next day & didn't hear from you again despite phoning 4 times & emailing once. My account still showed it as having been delivered so I had no idea if you were providing correct item or not. 3 different people said they'd find out & phone me back, none did until 4th phone call revealed it was being packed. It just needed someone to take ownership of this issue but sadly no-one in customer services did.

Despite invoice and delivery note telling me I had received what i ordered, someone must have picked the wrong hedge trimmer in packing department. The courier collected the wrong item the day after then I heard nothing for a week. Eventually found Dave in customer service who was apologetic and helpful.

Let down by their couriers DHL. After 4 days of being promised a delivery I finally went to the depot to collect it myself! Tooled Up customer service said it happens all the time and parcels actually go missing! Time to change your courier, I won't be purchasing anything else from Tooled Up

I’ve ordered twice from Tooled-up, on the first Occasion it took a week to process my order, had to contact them before they processed it. The second time my order turned up missing a part!!

I was meant to receive my purchase on Tuesday, now Thursday evening. DHL delivered to another address - still waiting some kind of response from Tooled-up, despite being told twice that I would get call back. Still waiting for my purchase to be delivered.

Item was shown in stock on website. However, when I called to collect my items, they had none in stock. It’s bad enough having social distancing and made to queue up outside, but petty talk at the desk with customers doesn’t help when you’re waiting in line to be served. Definitely would not purchase anything from here again.

There is no excuse for advertising one size of battery on the website and say after ordering that a more powerful one is needed. I had to pay an additional fee for this mistake. A lack of information on a product made this an expensive mistake.

I didnt want to leave a review, because of the unusual situation, but they have sent me 4 requests for one. I know that theses are difficult times, so accepted the extremely long dispatch estimates, which were kept to. But 3/4 of my order is more than 10 days late. Partly due to DHL putting back the delivery date of one of my deliveries, but also due to an in-stock item, not being dispatched at all, then picked and packed, I assume as a misc item, which was never dispatched. Then a second misc item was picked, packed and dispatched. I'm confused by what is dispatched, as I've had notification of 7 dispatches for 5 items. Only 2 have arrived. Invoices do not match dispatch notes, on deliveries... No one at tooled up answers the phone or email....

Placed an order for a Black and Decker grass strimmer on the 20 April 2020 and it arrived on the 12 May 2020. Allowing for the present pandemic the lack of communication from the company regarding delay was very poor and if improved would reduce complaints.

I know we are in exceptional circumstances at the moment but I was hoping I may have received my order by now. I was for my daughters birthday. I submitted and email to the Contact and have not heard anything about my parcel. The shopping and what I wanted was easy to find and a good price.
