HI Abigail, You can book hours for non deducting leave types, or have a user set to hours so everything can be booked in hours: https://help.timetastic.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/202445102-Annual-allowance-in-days-or-hours Hope that helps 🙂

“Good simple platform, but missing some core functionality: cannot book few hours, only half a day or full day booking is available”

“A good system to log and monitor leave or absence. However only as good as the staff that maintain and use it. It could benefit to allow hourly leave or absence allocation as this can sometimes happen for dental or Dr appointments.. not always half days taken.”

“I like the ease of use and the clean format. I don't like how you cannot track time off to the hour or quarter. Many employees only need 1-2 hours for a doctor's appointment, however this is not able to be tracked on Timetastic.”

“Overall it's a great app, i have trouble with my of my team calendar not syncing with mine so i don't have her leave booked in my outlook calendar which is frustrating.”

“I appreciate the ease with which we can book through the app on mobile devices as well as the website. Also being able to see your team's calendars at a glance is great for arranging holidays and coverage. Editing what you have already done and permissions to put others out of office has been causing teething issues but hopefully, these can be resolved.”

“It's useful for gaining quick consideration of annual leave applications but doesn't seem to take account of individually-agreed leave allocation (it appears to assume a blanket equal leave allocation). It also seems invasive in that it alerts staff of individual absences they don't need to know about.”

Hi Barry, thanks for leaving a review. Timetastic does account for individually-agreed leave allocation. You just set it for each user in their profile or when you add a user. Sorry if that wasn't clear. All the best

“Overall it works well. But I found myself always getting confused by the My calendar screen as it's showing the entire year instead of the current month. For the wallchart screen, as a person usually needs to collaborate with different departments, I prefer to see the full company calendar as default instead of only my department. One last thing is if it can automatically sync to google calendar would be amazing.”

“Timetastic does a fine job at basic time off management, but it doesn't integrate with other payroll software and doesn't offer accrual based time off management. Not super effective for most paid time off policies.”
