“From the time your surveyor came out to the time your technicians completed the work, I received exemplary service. Everyone was very courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. The work was fully explained to me and I felt confident about what was required. On the day , your technicians were punctual and extremely obliging about moving appliances for me. They also addressed a small plumbing issue which was not part of their remit. Without doubt I would wholeheartedly recommend Timberwise .”

“This is the second time in eight years that Timberwise have sorted various damp problems for me, and I will certainly use them again. They are polite, knowledgeable, arrive on time, and are happy to liaise with, and advise other companies involved. The work is done to a high standard, and they leave the house tidy. They even had the original paperwork to refer to, which saved a lot of time.”

“We couldn't be happier with the service from Timberwise in remediating the damp problems in our cottage. Needing to have to work done at short notice the initial survey was carried out by Chris Spilstead in the middle of April, and the workmen walked off site on the 4th of May. All the tradesmen were first class, clean and tidy workers. The office and admin staff were pleasant and efficient. No one wants to have their house drilled full of holes and have rooms re-plastered; it's never going to be a fun process. But if anyone is going to have it done , let Timberwise do the job and make it as pain free as possible. Thanks Boys and Girls Judith and Eugene Molloy”

“A professional service from start to finish. There was no hard sell - the surveyor was reliable and efficient and the technician hard working, tidy and cheerful. He was prepared to go the extra mile and worked into the evening on the last day to complete the job within the specified time frame. “I had some concerns about a 300 year old property I was buying, my surveyor cautioned me to have further investigations. He then recommended Timberwise as he had personally used them and felt they were more thorough and professional than other companies he came across in the course of his work. Best money I ever spent! Dry rot, wet rot and live beetle infestations, none of which my surveyor nor I had seen, because of strategically placed furniture by the properties owner. I was given a same day verbal report and just a couple of days later received the written report together with maps showing locations affected. It has not put me off buying the property, it allows me to go forward and renegotiate the price to take account of the remedial works. Thank goodness for Martin at Timberwise, he had the expertise but importantly in this case rolled his sleeves up and got into all the nooks and crannys of the property. So glad I followed my surveyors advice, I could have landed up with a very expensive house of horrors. My advice would be don't try and shave costs on this, it's just not worth the risk and you can still buy the house if you love it, but getting it checked by professionals as I did, it could save you thousands.
