“Excellent service from our engineer Jimmy - who realised that in order to complete our damp proofing job properly, it could not be completed in the day(as originally planned). Jimmy turned out on Saturday morning to finish the job - a 90 minute drive from his home. No additional charge from Timberwise.”

“I’ve just witnessed something amazing… I’ve just witnessed something amazing .Gary Hart the Senior surveyor for Timberwise in Richmond SW15 6NP just came to assess my cellar, for which I had been previously quoted many thousands of pounds of work to prevent damp. He told me it was all dry, after checking with a very good professional damp meter, and all I needed was a humidifier or extractor fan to lower the humidity. There had previously been water ingress due to no drainpipes which has been sorted. The experience of meeting such an honest person was quite moving. I would throughly recommend his service, and I see from other reviews that the rest of the company is equally professional. A big thank you.”

“Fantastic from start to finnish, surveyor was great, on time very professional and explained everything in detail, very quick estimate. Workmen arrived on time , did a fantastic job,very clean and covered everything to protect floors etc. We were kept up to date by Sharon in the office ,as to who was coming and at what time. Great communication with Timberwise throughout. Would highly recommend , so nice to deal with a conscientious professional firm who do what they say they will.”

“Strongly recommend you do not use Timberwise. Their contract with us was for restoring a roof and leaving it suitable for slating. They proved unable to adequately restore the roof rafters and botched the sarking leaving rotten rafters underneath, with the ends not stable and uneven so we have to employ another two firms to remedy their work at great expense. Timberwise subesquently have been very aggressive in pursuing monies not owed to them and were unable to recognise or seek to understand the poor quality of their work.”

“I phoned Timberwise this morning feeling pretty desperate as I found dry rot in my house and am petrified that it may be very bad but I don't know if it is or what. A very helpful young lady said she would try to contact the surveyor which she did and has made an appointment for him to come next week. I hope I can stop shaking soon. Thank you for your help.”

“Gary Carty came round to our flat for a consultation relating to damp proofing our cellar. He was extremely knowledgeable and has helped us in understanding the root cause of our issue. He has also provided us with excellent practical advice on how to fix it which has been very helpful. I would thoroughly recommend his services and trust his opinion on anything damp proofing related.”

“A good measure of a company is how they handle a problem, especially one they have created themselves. During the installation of a DPC in my home I pointed out a problem with the work which they had done, without making a fuss they stopped work, devised a solution and then implemented it. The end result was a good job and a happy customer.”

“Rodney Smith from the Lincoln Branch - The first surveyor we have encountered who is straight talking, clear and has a no nonsense approach to resolving problems. He was incredibly approachable and navigated us through the world of damp and woodworm without terrifying us with surveyor jargon ! An absolute breath of fresh air. Attended, identified the problem and arranged the repairs, all with 4 days ! “We were very pleased with the service we received through Timberwise. The booking process was friendly and efficient and the surveyor was fantastic. Gary is a true professional who instantly made us feel comfortable and put our minds at ease regarding the problem we had. It is so nice to come across a company you feel you can trust and whose employees are exemplary. “From start to finish I cannot believe how lucky I have been to choose Timberwise to help me solve a damp issue in my home. Everyone has been amazing from booking a survey to getting the job done. I was super lucky to have the survey completed on a Monday by Dean Foster, who was great, and then booked in to have the rising damp sorted on the Thursday and Friday of the same week because of a cancellation. Connie and Jackie who sorted the appointment and invoicing were really helpful and responsive and Dave who came to do the work was lovely, very friendly and knowledgeable and gave me great confidence in everything he was doing. He was very respectful of my property and did everything he could to limit the disruption. I have already started to tell everyone I know to use this company if you have any issues that need sorting. Thank you for making a problem in my home so easy to resolve, you are all fantastic. I think you are great value for money too.”
