“Quick response to request for survey. Surveyor was informative. Report was quick. Once contracted, the work was scheduled for soon after. And flexible - I had to postpone once. I was reminded of survey date. Mystry, who did the job, was punctual and explanation of the work programme was clear and thorough. Work was completed in good time, including replacement of a couple of floor boards which was not planned. Excellent service.”

“Excellent, efficient and friendly service and I couldn't recommend Timberwise highly enough. I called them in to look at the issue of rotting boards. Ian, the surveyor was thorough in his investigation and rather than advise on possibility causes he advised on additional investigation to ensure the right solution was delivered. The next visit from Ian and his colleague Andy was again thorough, efficient and very friendly. I felt completely confident in their recommendation of cause and solution.”

“Contacted the Bristol office to check woodworm in our loft. Office staff consistently efficient & friendly. Surveyor attended site on time as promised. Report issued very promptly. All communication with this company easy & clear. Robbie came on time to do the spraying, fully informed about the job, easy to deal with & took great care around our house. Guarantee issued earlier than promised. Initially I feared that Timberwise, being a national company, might be a poorly managed franchise but in fact they are right on the ball &, in my experience, completely reliable. I don't hesitate to recommend them.”

“Timberwise was recommended to me and I wish I had stumbled upon them before. I have had a serious problem with damp in the front room of my cob cottage for some time; surveyors and builders have look at it for years and nobody appeared to have a solution. All were nervous of taking it on. When Ashley came to do the assessment, he seemed experienced and well informed. He explained how he thought they would approach the problem and a few days later I had a detailed report from Ashley which confirmed the plans and the price. Once I had agreed this, the work was booked and 6 weeks later, it is all finished! Adrian and Norman took pride in their work and were professional, polite and considerate at all times and they also worked hard to keep mess to a minimum. They were punctual, hardworking and knowledgeable; they kept me informed of any issues along the way, thankfully not too many! I have already recommended this company to friends and would certainly use them again if needed. Communication with the office ( via Leah) was excellent too. The boss dropped in to check on the men - sadly I didn't see him but I am impressed that he does this. Overall, this has been an extremely positive experience and I can't recommend them enough.”

“Really happy with the work carried out by Timberwise. The surveyor David was very knowledgeable and provided all the answers we needed, the office staff (Leah) were fabulous keeping in touch and sending regular information through and the guys who carried out the work (Greg, Justin and Kevan) we super. They cleared up daily, made sure we were able to live a semi normal life whilst having the work done, were really friendly and helpful if we encountered any snags along the way. I thoroughtly recommend Timberwise.”

“I was very pleased with the damp proofing work carried out in the entrance to our village hall. The person involved in the quoting for the job and the contractors who performed the necessary work were friendly, arrived at the agreed times, completed the job within the expected time ( subject to a delay in having particles of the old wall tested for asbestos) and cleaned up each evening prior to leaving. They also provided guidance in helping to get the asbestos testing work done promptly.”

“I have had Jack and Aiden repairing some very sorry looking timber sash and casement windows on a farmhouse. They're cheerful, friendly, incredibly tidy. “Having received several conflicting opinions for the cause of damp on the walls under our kitchen work surface, I came across Timberwise & decided to ask them to inspect the problem. Their surveyor, Dean, provided me with a very detailed & knowledgeable report & the price for the work seemed reasonable. Therefore, I was happy to ask Timberwise to carry out the remedial work. Their friendly operative, Chris, arrived on time on the date agreed & he took great care to protect our kitchen from dust. During the day he explained the various stages of the work. I was very pleased with the standard of his work & also that he left our kitchen almost dust free.”
