“Many thanks to Dean (Lincolnshire location) for all his work in our loft today, particularly in view of the high temperatures he had to work in. We would wholeheartedly recommend Timberwise.”

“They began work early March 2024 to carry out a "3 week job". Its now August, they havent finished the job, preventing us from selling the property, and wont answer our attempts to speak with them. Avoid!!!”

“From the minute I phoned this company, (in a huge panic having discovered some woodworm beetles and very worried about the infestation spreading), I was treated beautifully by both people I spoke with, and they could not have been more helpful. Firstly Luke who answered the phone was kindness itself, and although in my particular situation he thought it might not come within Timberwise remit (mine seemed to be a furniture issue rather than structural woodworm) he went to great lengths finding sources of help for me (suggesting ways to find the correct specialist if needed). He then arranged for Gary, one of Timberwise surveyors, to phone and advise me anyway. Within 5 minutes Gary had phoned, he then spent time patiently explaining the reason for the reappearance of the little blighters following previous treatment by another company, and totally reassured me that this is normal, and what to do about it. I am not well, and the thought of having to deal with another seemingly big problem on top was very distressing. At no time did Luke or Gary treat me like a stupid little old woman (which happens often in my dealings with other tradesmen). Instead they went out of their way to give me swift answers and complete reassurance, even though it didn't result in a job for Timberwise on this occasion. It certainly will in future if I ever have need for their services, and because of their kindness, knowledge and professionalism I will recommend them to everyone I know who needs them. Thank you so much!”

“I give Timberwise 3 stars as it took a number of visits to restore my kitchen wall to its original condition. However I give Craig Jones 5 stars for his work on 26/6/24. He was friendly, efficient and did an excellent job applying skim to my cracked, bumpy kitchen wall.”

“Super service from Marc Manton and the team at Timberwise earlier this year! After finding a property we wanted to purchase we discovered the loft had been insulated with spray foam. Most banks and lenders will not lend with this situation but after a thorough examination carried out by Marc, the roof space was deemed sound and a detailed report was produced, together with images and copies of all the required certification and sent through to the bank. The bank accepted the findings of Timberwise and agreed to lend based on the findings within the report. We are delighted to confirm that we finally moved in yesterday, but only thanks to Timberwise! We would not hesitate to recommend this company and if it's spray foam insulation you are dealing with, I'd also recommend asking for Marc Manton!”

“We used Timberwise after discovering Dry Rot in our property having had issues with 2 local independent "experts". Upon contacting Timberwise, they quickly replied and arranged for a Surveyor to attend after which a very comprehensive and free of charge report followed. From this point on the Bristol Timberwise Team were, brilliant! Excellent communication regarding booking in the works and the cost was very reasonable. The team that attended and carried out the work (Craig Jones and Richard Hardacker) were friendly, professional, punctual and kept us constantly updated on progress. They were polite and ensured the site was properly protected to contain dust and debris and cleaned up as best as possible at the end of each day. I would most definitely recommend Timberwise for their services in the future.”

“Ashley the Surveyor came to our house as we were worried when a possible damp spot in our living room was identified whilst we were having new carpet laid He assured us that the area was not damp but was the result of the seal leaking around the patio in the past He also took the time to look around our cellar store to give advice on ventilation Totally professional & such a really nice guy I would recommend Ashley 100% if you're looking for advice/work to be undertaken”

“We had a damp proof course, re-plastering and replacement of rotten skirting boards in a cloakroom/toilet. Workmen turned up promptly at 0800. They were pleasant, efficient and cleaned up afterward. The only name I have is Stu Fairbairn who replaced the skirting boards today. Overall, a very positive experience”
