“I knew that we had active woodworm, this was obvious, so we got 3 vendors to quote. Timberwise did offer the best value. The gentleman who did the work was very "old school" polite, courteous and was very clean and tidy. There were no cost escalations and the guarantee and guarantee insurance came through promptly. I am very happy with the quality of the work.”

“After the initial enquiry, the representative of Timberwise turned up on time and conducted a very thorough survey of the damaged timber joists. He answered all my questions in detail but easy for me to understand the technicalities. A couple of days later a full and detailed written report arrived both by email and in the post. The price was competitive and, with our initial experience of the company, it was an easy decision as to who we were going to invite to do the job. It was easy to book the date for the job to be done, and it was completed on time. The Timberwise employee was polite, hard working, happy to answer questions, appreciated a cup of tea and tided up thoroughly after each day, leaving no mess at all. Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending Timberwise to anyone.”

“Quick answering , polite & knowledgeable, immediate action to help me get an urgent survey done in order to sell a property & then speedy service with the spraying action required & a polite & tidy damp spray technician. He was quite open that though there was work Timberwise could provide a quote for, it was not really needed. He also gave me some useful tips on how to deal with some minor work myself. “Timberwise surveyed and treated a very extensive and rapidly spreading problem with dry rot stemming from a leaky wet room conversion in an adjoining property. The work was carried out swiftly and to a very good standard and they made a good job of clearing up afterwards.”

“I have used Timberwise on three occasions to carry out damp treatment works to the ground floor of our cottage in Dorset which was built in 1790. This work included taking off all plaster, installing a membrane on some walls, re-plastering and making good. I used Timberwise because of their expertise in damp treatment works. In all my dealings I have found them professional and very efficient. Their workmanship has been excellent including the making good of joinery and I would have no hesitation in recommending Timberwise.”

“Worthless Guarantee Reinfested 14 years later Informed a biased surveyor would inspect for£180 and would take at least two weeks My builder rectified the problem immediately for £120 in time for Christmas”

Regrettably due to the high level of enquiries at this time of year, we are booking appointments two weeks in advance which unfortunately meant we were unable to attend your property sooner. As a matter of course, we charge an inspection fee for guarantee claims, this can then be refunded should the claim be upheld.
