“After some research into tiling course's UKPro was the stand out choice and after completing the 13 day course it obvious why. This is not a tick in the box course, like many others. Darren will not waste time with endless hours of tiling simple patterns on to flat walls/floors. You are thrown into the deep end from the off, learning all the difficult cuts, layouts and situations which you will come across in the real world. The information is fast and furious but the results are fantastic, the methods Darren teaches are also simple and time efficient. The business day is a must! My goal was simple having left a high paying career I needed a jump start to create my own business so I would recommend the 13 day course if you are looking for a business start up. The facilities were great and we were always using fresh tiles for each project. Tracey was a little bundle of joy about the workshop, bringing in the signature doughnuts for the team. From the first phone call she puts all your doubts at ease, and is really helpful through out the course. *Update- Since finishing the 13 day course, I spent the first week dealing with my business (which is still not quite finished) and into the second week now I have a full weeks booked up with kitchens/floors and a full flat re-ferb which has more than paid for my course and tools! These 3 jobs were also the first and only 3 I applied for, hence I would recommend the business course and the sales techniques as its working for me. I have more jobs in the pipeline to look at and when my business goes live hopefully it will take off even more!”

“Darren and Tracy great team great course,when i finished my 9 days i practised tiling my utility room,one wall not bad second wall great then took 3 jobs £250,£500 and £700 i then took a one week domestic plumbing course and my next job was a full bathroom removed and tiled all walls removed all white goods and replaced toilet,vanity unit,glass cabinet and bath and refitted the heater,£5000 and theres loads of work.Best move ever.”

“Update: As they say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, & the best course in the world isn't worth diddly if it doesn't pull in the work. My biggest worry was coming out of the course & then not finding the work ... well, I can testify that IF you listen to what you're told on this course (& it really is all spelt out for you) I really don't see how you can fail. My experience ... did the 13 day 'ultimate course, & during my 'down-time' I was tweaking my website & FB in accordance with the advice I was receiving. Bought the professional tooling kit & made careful notes as to what other tool & equipment would be required ... it really is all there (bath boards, I praise you!). On returning home, went live about a week later ... gobsmacked! The job opportunities were just pouring in from FB & 'MyBuilder.com' (my website isn't getting the hits just yet, but working on my SEO etc.) ... I opened trade accounts at all my local tile shops, found my 'helpful' manager (you really couldn't make it up) & BOOM!! I'm now less than two weeks in & have secured myself over £2k worth of work with about the same value under consideration. I'm fully booked out for a month ahead & starting to look to regulate my workload as opposed to chase it ... I really didn't foresee (or believe) that this level of demand was out there. I know that I still have a lot to learn, but taking that first bold step into a customer's home is the bridge that you just have to cross ... it really is the start of the rest of your working life, & working for yourself is just the best thing you can do for yourself & your family. Also, the friends I made on the course are now sharing our experiences on 'Whatsapp' which is a great tool for encouragement & advice as we all look find our feet without having to show our arses to the world - it's just the nuts to know you are not alone out there. ... & if that wasn't enough, come the ultimate head-scratcher, we can always contact Darren for his unbeatable advice from all his years in the industry. Looking for a new direction ... look no further.”

I did the course in April and Darren gave me the confidence to get straight out there and start on my own. I'm so busy it's unreal. “Absolutely fantastic course from start to finish. Darren has a tendency go go off like a bullet from the first introduction to final good luck farewell, but my advice is LISTEN. Don't try and take it all in in one go you'll be shocked how much you take in sub-consciously, so just relax, pay attention, LISTEN and ENJOY. Darren has a tremendous amount of knowledge to pass to you and if I'm honest, you really do need to do the full 13 day course, there is just too much to learn in anything less. I had only ever tiled my own kitchen splashback prior to the course and after 13 days I've just secured 4 bathrooms and 4 shower rooms for a developer in London. Amazing what I learnt. As for his lovely wife Tracy... You'll never find anyone to make you feel so welcome and relaxed. If you need anything at all, just ask her and she will bend over backwards to help. Gorgeous lady and a great guy. Thank you both VERY much.”

“Phenomenal course I booked on for a one week course and after the first day I wanted to do the second week so I asked Tracy to book me on for another week you could not wish too meet 2 nicer people than Darren and Tracy I have learnt so much from Darren over the two weeks not just about tiling but about business and life and I feel competent to go and do tiling jobs now I know I have a fantastic knowledge about tiling if you want to be a tiler or even if you just want the knowledge to do your own bathroom etc get booked on this course it will be the best decision you have made this course has given me a brilliant new outlook on work and life thank you Darren & Tracy”

“I left wishing I'd booked onto the 9 day course because of how much I had learnt in my first full week and the brilliant time I had! Your guidance and knowledge is second to none and worth every penny I spent and every mile I drove! (860 mile round trip) I cannot find one bad word to say about my experience with uk pro tiling and the whole set up, the accommodation provided was immaculate and the houses were beautiful! A real credit to you both! I'm looking forward to my upcoming jobs now and feel more than confident to tackle any job that comes not only professionally but also efficiently whilst creating maximum profit, I already had a mild understanding of business from being self employed but the knowledge you have given me is so valuable going forward! I will be in touch over the next few months with an update whilst I try to ween myself away from the heating and gas side of plumbing to focus my attention to full bathrooms and wetroom installations alongside all other tiling opportunitys that will arise. Thank you so much again and whilst I would love to wish you every success I know you won't need it.. the perfect set up run by the perfect partnership in Darren and Tracey! “This course is very intensive, there is no messing around, its down to business from the off and the foot doesn't come off the gas until you leave. Yes, its hard work, testing, fun, and the quality of the input is second to none and so you learn a lot ... quickly! I went from having never laid a tile in anger, to by the end of the 9-day course feeling sufficiently proficient to get out there & do it for a living. Even so, I opted for the 13-day course (which I think Darren undersells the importance of), and I'm so glad I did as I was put to the test with numerous further tiling scenarios to solve. All of this I feel has set me up well for my new career. Met some great people too ... Darren is an inspiration & Tracey makes everyone feel at home & the accommodation is great. If you are looking for a serious tiling / business course that will deliver, look no further - book it!”

“What can I say, this course took me from nothing to everything I need to succeed in tiling not only as a tradesman but as a business man, Darren and Tracey make the course what it is lovely people with a massive passion to give something back, made some friends I'll stay in touch with through stopping in a pro tile house had a laugh a minute and enjoyed the highs and even the melting day lows which I'm sure everyone will encounter at some point lol can't recommend highly enough get on it change your life and meet two exceptionally clever business people willing to share everything they've learnt to help you succeed.!!!! I did 2 weeks and now it's over feel ready to get going especially after the Friday which will leave you buzzing for what you may achieve, the techniques I've learnt haven't even been adopted by mates who have tiled for years!!”

“Finished this tiling course at UK Pro Tiling Training about a month ago and I'm still buzzing, the skills and information that you get from it is incredible. I was a complete novice before starting but within a couple of days you are Darren gets you doing complex setting out and tiling work, you have to see what you've done yourself to believe it. It was the 9 day course that i completed. If your thinking of starting a business then this course is for you, darren guides you through everything so as you know how to market, price, sell yourself and do the job for maximum income. I have done 6 jobs in the last month since leaving and earned over 3 grand from them, not a bad start and things are looking good for August. “I booked this tiling course on the basis of the many positive reviews I saw online. Due to other commitments, I was only able to attend the four day course, but Darren and Tracey offer great flexibility and I am planning to go back and do the business day and possibly the second week's training soon. As a female with limited DIY experience, I was a bit behind the curve compared to others on the course and it took me longer to complete the work we were set. I made a few mistakes but Darren was extremely patient in explaining and putting me back on track. I got there in the end and completed the course feeling that I had learnt a lot. I did the course as I have a few home projects to work on and I feel confident that I can produce a good result. Having just received a quote of £2500 for tiling our bathroom, I know this was money well spent. Both Darren and Tracey are extremely professional and their commitment to their students is evident from booking to course end. If you are thinking of doing a tiling course, this is the gold standard.”
