“I made the long journey from Exeter slightly worried about the task in head , as car salesman I had never laid a tile in my life or done a any DIY as such , Darren did a great job on the first day to run through nearly everything you need to know and Tracey did a brilliant job from start to finish to make everyone feel comfortable, I’ve come out from the course with a full professional buisneas plan and the tiling skills to match. I feel comfortable to tile anywhere and in any situation. The course is brilliant if you want actually want to learn what it’s like on the real world unlike what you get from all of the other training centres I’ve researched. Thanks guys my last month in work is February I shall keep you updated on my first customer job. Thanks , Josh”

“I have been in the construction industry for 30 years and taken a vast amount of training courses. In my view, UK PRO TILING TRAINING is without a doubt, the most proffessionally taught and equipped course I've attended. Best decision career wise I've ever made. I have been running my own Tiling business since March of this year. This would not be possible without the skill level and knowledge I gained on Darren's course. He's ability to take a person who has never tiled, to start running their own business confidently after three weeks is second to none. I'm fully booked up until January 2018 and comfy ably making an average of £900-£1200 a week. If you are thinking about a hassle free way of earning a good living and changing your career. “After doing a 9 day course at uk pro tiling training which was excellent by the way run by Darren the tutor and owner and his wife Tracey who runs the office, enquires and bookings, i left the course raring to go, this course teaches everything you need to be successful as a tiler then its up to you to put whats taught into practice. 6 months on this has been a career change for the better, best week so far cleared £1600, worst week £800 with one week where i did nothing shortly after leaving but this was due to just getting my name out there, you just have to market and sell yourself like darren tells you and the work comes flooding in. Take your time at the start and don't over stretch yourself, there is little bits of stuff to learn as you go through each job as little snags crop up but then again any new career change is going to be a learning curve at the start. Darren is always at the end of the phone as I've rang him about half a dozen times to run through a situation and he's always happy to help you out even after hours Im pretty confident at it now and really enjoy the job, money and freedom is great, glad i made this decision to train here. Big thanks agin to darren and tracey Bill”

“I did the full 13 day course back in July this year & haven't stopped Tiling since! I found it another steep learning curve 'out there' as I went at it like a pig at a truffle from the off & ended up taking too much work on whilst underestimating how long each job would take. This led to me leaving a few snags on one job as I dashed off to the next & boy did that customer make me suffer with a bad review. That hurt and made me really take stock - lesson learned! The other thing I learned is be careful if you quote for taking off old tiles - as The Jam sang, walls do come tumbling down, & so I pretty quickly had to learn how to rebuild them - I can now repair & replace plasterboard & have learned how to back board a shower cubicle ... basic building skills that are really a must in this game. It's been hard work, & it's messy, but so rewarding when you give the customer more than they expected & you pocket some wedge. You've really got to quote properly & I've also fallen foul of quoting too cheaply - don't underprice the value of the skills you possess. I'm fortunate in having an income form pension so I don't need to stress too much about earnings; but in my area it's easy to clear £500 /week doing just 4 jobs a month. To end, its physically harder than I thought (there again I'm 51) but this job really is what you make & take from it ... the course is an excellent grounding & I haven't found myself wanting in Tiling skills at all, had to learn a few basic builder skills along the way, but would commend the course to anyone looking. “The UK Pro Tiling two week course was my route into Tiling. I completed the course after establishing Woodridge Tiling Ltd but before undertaking my first job, and I’m very glad I did. I was able to see my my through the whole job as I visited prospective customers, so was able to talk knowledgeably enough to win business and to the jobs to a high standard. I’ve since had 100% “likes” on MyBuilder, including for jobs done for the trade.”

“Simply put an excellent course, well worth the money and travel, could have gone somewhere closer and cheaper but you get what you pay for in life and this course is at a premium level of training, Looking for a career in tiling then this call delivers everything. Update Ive been finished from this course for about 6 weeks now and have numerous jobs under my belt, I'm averaging about a grand a week and things are looking up as i make more contacts, looking forward to an exciting career ahead and putting more of Darrens practices into action. “Myself and my son came on the 5 day course, it was very good. Darren and Tracey were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We came away from the course enlightened, with a new skill and business. The tiling side of the course was excellent but its much more than learning how to do some great tiling, its also a course in creating your own tiling business. “Decided on Uk-Pro Tiling because I had attended a tiling course in Dartford, Kent and was sorely disappointed with it. Darren goes through everything in detail but be prepared to be taught at lightning speed! He's condensing his years of experience into the short time you're there. The handout he gives you (Tilers Bible) is invaluable for dipping into when you want to jog your memory of what you've learnt. All in all it was a really enjoyable 5 days and I feel like I learnt alot. Tracey was lovely also making everyone feel welcome. Looking forward to starting some jobs up with the knowledge I have now. “Travelled all the way from the South of England (Surrey) up north to Hartlepool for this course and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I could of gone to an able skills course locally but would of learnt a small fraction compared to what I learnt on this course in just 9 days! It is intense but worth every penny. Not only is this a tiling course I learnt a huge amount about selling, marketing and business also. Darren and Tracey were both great. I met some great people whilst on the course, everyone was friendly and in the same boat. If you are considering booking this course and are hesitating either because of money or how far you have to travel I can assure you that you won't regret it. Overall the UK Pro Tiling course was brilliant. Can't recommend it enough!”

“I signed up for the 4 day course which I completed a month ago. I decided on pro tiling as the reviews were so good but I was still so surprised by how much I learnt! I went on the course with no tiling experience whatsoever and hardly any DIY knowledge (I am a lawyer so useless at anything practical!). The course was fantastic, I never would have believed I would have been able to complete the course with so many new skills. I was the only girl on the course but that was not a problem at all - Everyone on the course was helpful and friendly and it made no difference that i was a complete beginner (I even had to be shown how to use the saw!!). Darren and Tracey were also fantastic. Darren guided me through any bits I was unsure of and Tracey was always there to answer any questions. The accommodation was also lovely. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone who is considering a career change or who just wants to pick up skills in this area - it is brilliant and I can't wait to go back and complete the 4 days advance course to build on what I learnt. “I attempted the 5 day course 2 weeks ago and was blown away by how good it actually was. After reading reviews I was expecting it to be good but was still pleasantly surprised by how good it actually was. From the first morning you are battered with information but there’s no rubbish packed in everything is very relevant to the job. This course isn’t just how to put a tile onto the wall it’s very much Darren sharing his 30+ years of experience with you and teaching you ho to put it into practice. The course went well above my expectations and I’ve already done a job and priced a few since leaving. Also have to mention Tracey was excellent to see with aswell I obviously had a few reservations before but Tracey explained everything excellent booked me into one of they’re properties. So a big thanks to Darren and Tracey and here’s to a hopefully happy successful future !”

“Just finished 4 day course & 1 day natural stone & business course,which I must say is vital to do. Course was fast paced but excellent tuition from owner Darren. The facilities are excellent & what Darren doesn't know about tiling isn't worth knowing. I'd done a bit of tiling prior to this course but didn't realise how much harder I was making the jobs now that I know the correct techniques & ways to go about tiling. I intend to start part time around my current job & see how it goes then maybe switch to full self employed. I cannot recommend this course highly enough, if your thinking about it all I can say is go for it. Also Darren's wife Tracey is a lovely person & cannot help you enough & they make you feel very welcome. I already have a few little jobs lined up just from posting my photos & certificates from course on my FB page, thanks again UK Pro Toling.”

“Excellent, this tiling course will change your life, i knew nothing prior to attending but Darren teaching methods and knowledge takes you to places you never thought of, not only do you end up with professional tiling skills but the mindset of how to become successful when running a business. 30 years of Darrens business knowledge is catapulted into your head. Its tough going and he takes no prisoners but if you want to learn from the best with no bullshit, then this is the place be be trained. My tiling business is going great and new avenues to expand into are in the pipeline, can't wait, being self employed is the best thing I've done, don't think i would ever go back to being employed. “After deciding a change of career i contacted UK pro tiling, when i emailed through the website darren and tracey were on holiday but i still got an email from tracey informing me she would be in contact when they were back, true to her word she rang on the day they returned and after a good 10-15 min chat got me booked up for the nearest date available. I have recently completed the 5 day course, from the moment i arrived i felt comfortable and highly welcomed to the course.
