“I have been a floor layer now for the past 16 years but always worked for somebody else. I've finally made the desicision to go out on my own and wanted to add another string the bow and the one trade most like flooring is tiling. After searching online before booking this course, I chose UK Pro Tiling Training due to the fantastic reviews. I decided to email expressing my interest where I shortly received a call back. After a conversation with Tracey my reservations were gone and I booked myself up to join. I explained my background to Darren and was assured that I would be up to speed and where I needed to be within the week. The course was incredible and I can't thank Darren and Tracey enough. Not only do I have the knowledge I needed to add the tiling to my career but a huge amount of confidence to go with it.”

“Finished darrens course about 3 months ago and it has really changed my life. After finishing the course you have all the skills that you need but it is a bit scary to begin with going in to somebodys house but once you fight through that fear factor the rest is easy. Like darren said marketing, marketing and more marketing. The first thing that I did was get an account with topps tiles, not the cheapest but good quality materials, you get trade discounts and loyalty accounts, I have had quite a few jobs through them. And local window fitting firm have given me loads of work. I cannot thank darren and tracy enough It is an amazing, fun and knowledgable course and it sets you up for success. Thanks again Shayne”

“I must say that since I left the course I have had lots to be getting on with. I left after only completing the 5 day course and my mind was racing. Darren fed me so much information that I'm still processing it! I have started my own company to work along side my main job. This was always the plan but if the workload gets too great then I'll have to make a tough decision. The course was amazing he teaches every conceivable part of tiling throughout the 5 days and still manages to fit in some business advise. I have managed to get a few jobs under my belt already without doing any advertising so with some effort I'll be rushed off my feet. Both Darren and Tracey are very friendly and welcoming and they have a cute little dog! Thank you for ally your help and assistance throughout this course and since.”

“Worth more than the 5 star maximum rating, if your looking for a change of career to tiling then this course leaves no stone unturned, business and marketing part of the course is exceptional, the practical tiling trade secrets past on by Darren are just brilliant. “Just an update on what is happening. Finished course a couple of months ago and have been tiling since. Two full rooms of wall tiles and one full room floor and wall, working with another fitter putting in all bathroom stuff. Talking to my boss (very good day rate now thanks to tiling) he was very impressed with what I knew and the other fitter was surprised when I asked a couple of questions about how he was doing things, to correct mistakes, as he had not thought about them before, IE about using SBR not PVA etc. Also finished off a couple of jobs for others on a self employed basis and used Darren's advice on getting the tiles for the customer etc so made good money on all the materials too. “Just an update from where I currently am 6 months after completing a 9 day tiling course with Darren at uk pro Tiling. After I finished the course I started to get then all rolling and start advertising at all the places that Darren recommended, I also payed a visit to local tile shops and opened traders accounts and left business cards/flyers. Within a few days I had my first job laying a uncalibrated slate floor and being a little nervous i contacted Darren who immediately responded even though it was a weekend evening. This sort of service is not available with any other centre. Within a week I had left my dead end job and created my own tiling business and I have been working 7 days a week to keep up with demand of the amount of quotes that I am winning due to the training and tips given by Darren, I am averaging 90% success rate on winning my jobs. In the six months I have been trading I have also been able to give something back to the community by being able to sponsor a girls under 12 football team. Since starting business it has been the best thing that I have done and my only regret was I wish I did it sooner. If you are hesitant in any way I would suggest speaking with Darren or Tracey and enrol on one of their courses, you will not regret it one bit and the after course support is fantastic, Many thanks to Darren and Tracey for helping me achieve my goal. “Hi i completed a course with Darren at UK Pro Tiling Training 4 months ago travelling over 200 miles, I was really nervous about a career change but i was made redundant so had no choice, i am handy at DIY but never done much tiling before. The course was absolutely brilliant with everything you need to know about running a business as a tiler, you are made to feel at ease as this is a family business with the loverly Tracey running the office and Darren putting you through your paces, be warned this course is full on and the workloads and information comes at you like a runaway train, however Darren delivers it in such a way that it sticks with you. When i left i put all Darrens marketing advice into place and i hit the ground running, within a week i had two jobs lined up, i was really nervous when i had to do them but everything went to plan, got paid well and then there was no stopping, i have worked every week since the course and my earnings are matching my old job already but with new potential customers in the pipeline i can see things getting better and better. If you like me and thinking will it be a good move then don't delay and give Tracey a ring, she genuinely has your interests at heart and talks you through the different courses on offer. “I attended the course 9 months ago, with the hope of starting my own business. At first it was very difficult to get the phone ringing, but hang on in there because every job ive done the customer has been delighted with my tiling and ive even had repeat work from the customer and their friends. The course provides you with the knowledge to not just tile but to start your own company if thats what you want to do, if you want to stay in some warehouse picking and packing then good for you, but if you want to be running your own business by this time next year then contact Darren”

“From the intital call to Tracey, her enthusiasm was infectious, she was extremely helpful from start to finish, and I was on the course the following week. The intensity of the course from start to finish is exactly what is needed to be able to fit all the theory and practical in. I'm not the most academic person and struggle to take a lot of information in, but Darren has a way delivering the course and making it stick. I left this course with a confidence due to the wealth of knowledge that Darren was able to impart in to myself and the other students. The level he was able to take us to in such a short time is amazing. Do not go on this course if you want an easy week with lots of breaks and cups of tea! “Hi Darren and Tracey, just thought I would drop you an update, I was on your tiling program just over a year ago. You really are the seller of dreams, never would I have thought that I would be running my own business after being employed for over 20 years in the printing business. The money, freedom and status of running my own business is something I never thought could happen until I attended your course. I remember looking around a lot at other centres somewhat closer but the draw of your website site and personal customer service from Tracey made my mind up that I was coming to you guys. What an eye opener as this is no ordinary course, the tiling instruction and business start up guidance is superb, as long as you follow what you say I don't know how anyone can fail. I am the proof of that, no way would I ever go back to being employed as I never earn less in a week than I used to but regularly double my old weekly earnings. “I finished the 4 day plus natural stone course on the 2nd December and I can honestly say I loved every second of it! I'm from just outside watford and wasn't sure if the 4 hour drive would be worth it but I can't praise Darren and Tracey enough. I was umming and ermming for about 8 weeks before I did the course...would it be value for money, would I learn a lot in a week, would I understand anything as I'd never done a single bit of tiling in my life, as in not even cut a tile. Tracey made me feel very welcome and was very understand from the start. After saving the money and booking the course I new I was being looked after. Darren's knowledge and experience is second to none and his training methods are simple and affective. If your will to listen and take in what his saying you can't lose. There's a lot to take in but considering the amount of times Darren's done the course he delivers it like it's the first time his done it with the same passion. If your reading this and thinking your not sure if it's for you I promise you it is. By the end of the week I had people messaging me on Instagram asking when I could go round and help them out aswel as asking me to do there kitchens. I can't wait for the next chapter in my life and I owe a hugh part of that for the time Tracey gave me and the confidence Darren tought me. “Hi Darren and Tracey, you may not remember me but I did your 5 day intensive fast track tiling course around ten years ago, and on the course that week were a load of Nissan workers who were expecting imminent redundancy, I was so keen to learn the tricks of the trade and running my own tiling business I felt like the swat of the class, really taking everything you said on board. Well just to let you know I did take everything on board and, well I believe truly, made it as a 'tiler'. I am constantly booked for around 6 weeks in advance and am earning as you predicted 10 years ago earning around £35,000 - £45,000 a year. Its taken some building but I've got there, and never ever worry about where my next jobs coming from. A good list of trade contacts, great recommendations from existing customers and a nice website for the inevitable 'googlers' and the work never seems to end..even tiled a 300sqm mosque changing rooms in Keighley last year :) Even after ten years I still love every job i do, theres always something slightly different to keep you interested, but it makes it exciting and you never get board with it. The investment i made with you guys was a big decision for me at the time but one that i am glad i did and am forever grateful of what you taught me all those years ago Kind Regards, Andy (Tile in Style)”

“I have recently relocated from Australia and spent the first part of the year trying out different trade training centres to get into plumbing and tiling. I decided to specialise in tiling but had a bad experience at a centre down south where I felt like I'd wasted my money and learnt very little. I persevered with my research and heard about UK Pro Tiling. It had really good reviews and I was attracted to the fact that they teach you the business side, not just putting up tiles. When I contacted them Tracey was extremely friendly and welcoming and explained everything about the courses on offer. I chose the 9 day (two week) option. I was especially happy that they could organise local accommodation, and even factored my dog into the arrangements! Once I arrived at the course, although I was the only female, I felt at ease and comfortable. The course is very well run and the atmosphere is welcoming but professional. You have to work hard, and we weren't there to slack off! The course covered every aspect of tiling practice and theory, and we had opportunities to observe as well as plenty of time to learn to do it ourselves. Darren was available throughout and was good at helping enough whilst still making you think for yourself. I was particularly happy to learn the details of how to run a small business, and the information Darren passed on was invaluable. I had only a very basic knowledge of this side of things, so this aspect of the course, even by itself, was gold dust for me. By the end of the course I felt confident in the skills I had acquired, and happy to embark on setting up my own tiling business. I was reassured that if I needed to ask any questions I could get support from UK Pro Tiling on the phone/email. I have now established Tin Whistle Tiling and, although it's early days, I have two big floor jobs coming up, and am looking forward to growing the business in 2017. Having tried two other trades training centres I would recommend UK Pro Tiling every time. Darren and Tracey are friendly, honest, knowledgeable and approachable, and the course fee is money well spent if you want to start your own business. The location can put people from the south off, but it was well worth the journey for the high quality of training.”

“My family and I landed back in the UK 3 weeks ago after living in New Zealand for nearly 6 years, when we sold our house in NZ the house valuer commented on the tiling I'd done around the place and said I should think about doing it for a living. I'd just followed a few Youtube videos about how to tile but I knew I needed to know how to do it properly, after a quick look on the net I found UK Pro Tiling and was blown away by the positive feedback. I contacted Tracey, explained my situation and booked myself on a course for when we returned. Everything about the UK Pro Tiling is top notch, Traceys customer service is second to none, Darrens teaching and knowledge is incredible, the house accommodation is lovely and for what you learn the costs are very reasonable. I have just completed the 2 week course and it was literally mind blowing, you start dreaming about tiles, you find yourself looking at tiling and you start to think like a tiler from day one. After week one I went back home full of confidence and spotted a lady needing a tiler on a local Facebook page, I responded and ended up doing 2 quotes that weekend and I've got both jobs. I have another 2 jobs on the cards and I've not lifted a finger yet putting into place all the things Darren teaches you to do. My brother is now wanting to get involved with my new tiling venture as he's seen the potential already and I've told him, he's not allowed to get involved until he's been to Hartlepool for some expert training.”

“Hi all. I attended the course on the 7th November 2016 for the 9 day intense course.I travelled from Poole in Dorset. Could have gone on one closer.But after reading reviews on U.K Pro Tiling. It was a no brainier.I Never layed,touched,or had anything to do with tiles before in my life. Why would I?? I've been a tarmacer for the last 29 years.Intense is an understatement.Make no mistake you will graft mentally and physically. Many times I thought what am doing here. But such is Darren's teaching skills,and knowledge and the way he talks,listens,reassures you,you can do it.It's nothing short of phenomenal.Make no mistake boys and girls it's INTENSE. He puts you on such a high after the first week. (Wait till you've grouted first weeks work. WOW!!!)Then the man teaches you everything you could possibly need to know of the business side on Friday.(worth the course fee on it's own) Then week two will blow your mind by Thursday afternoon. And it doesn't stop there. Darren offers you (via phone or email)anything you want or need to know after the course has finished.AndTracy!!!! What an absolute diamond she is. Nothing is to much trouble. Their accommodation is first class.(Highly recommend if they have rooms left)Long way to go. BUT!!!! I challenge you all to find any course that offers you all this.
