“The tie that Ibought was a striped blue and yellow as per the Ukrainian colours but it was obviously made up from two pieces of material and the seams were not carefully matched. Luckily tese defects fall under the colar and can be hidden. in view of its price I am surpried by the poor manufacturing quallity. Regards, Dr Richard Holliday”

Hi Mukesh Thank you for your feedback and order with us. For future reference we offer an extra long ties range, if they may be of interest. All our standard ties are made to 57 inches in length, which is the industry standard. If you do require a specific length, please let us know and we will always do everything we can to help. “The service was very good, with prompt delivery. Unfortunately, the scarves I had ordered were different to my expectation. I had previously bought around 12 scarves for a choir, and needed some more. The picture looked the same but, the scarves were not as attractive as the original ones. I suppose you no longer stock them.”

“Service and delivery was efficient. However I was disappointed in the quality of a cheap looking piece of plastic used as the "keeper" where the elastic braces cross over. Did not bother to return the item but will not go to this vendor again probably.”

The manufacturer of the braces is a high-end UK based company who use a flexible plastic for the keeper as it is felt this is much comfier when worn, than metal. Should you require more braces in the future and would like them with a metal adjuster, then they can be made with a lead time, so do please let us know if this may be an option to you. “Ordered a tie and handkerchief set but only received the tie! No explanation why, but I only needed the tie so not an issue to me, but someone who needs both, make sure. Pretty quick delivery and well packaged.”

It is incredibly rare we make such an error and had we known we would have ensure a handkerchief was sent straight away. If you still have the packaging, it may be worth checking that the handkerchief has not got caught up inside the packet. Due to the way we double check all orders sent out it would be unusual for a mistake to have been made but that is of course not to say that human error may not have occurred. As your order was placed with the standard delivery service, we do not have any way of guaranteeing speed of delivery. We do find the Royal Mail 24 to be generally excellent and given that it is a free service for orders over £10.00, we feel it is the best option to our customers. Most orders are delivered next day but we cannot guarantee it with the standard service. We do have a guaranteed next day option available if an item is required urgently. “Black Neon Green Question Mark tie has a white back which ruins the effect of the tie. When tied it shows a white line below the knot. This also applies to the Fractal tie.”

“Great braces, but they are supposed to be unisex. Definitely made for men. They were super long. I had to cut some off and re sew. Would love to see some female (small) fit and more variety of button end braces”

“I liked the fox design and got two scarves in different colours for a friend of mine, so I haven't worn them, but on receiving them and wrapping them up, they seemed thinner and less cosy than I had thought from the pictures. Hard to show on a picture, of course. I was a little disappointed. My friend said she liked them, but she would, it being a present.”

As you say, it is difficult to get across the thickness of the scarf just using an image. In the product title we describe the scarf as 'lightweight' and do also mention in the description that it would be suitable for use at the beach. So, the scarf is very much a versatile year round scarf rather being designed to substantially protect against the cold. That being said, once they are wrapped around the neck they are perhaps cosier than you might think purely from first sight. We hope the recipient likes the scarves. We are confident they genuinely will be impressed by the scarves. If you do get any further feedback from her, it would be great to hear her thoughts.
