Hi Meghan Thank you for your order with us. We are sorry to hear your order is not safely with you. We will contact you privately by email to discuss this further but we can confirm your order was posted out on schedule using a tracked, next day service. Looking at the tracking information, delivery was attempted on time but no-one was home at time of attempted delivery. Another attempt to deliver was made on the next day too, but again no-one was available to take delivery. Had we been aware that the delivery was not safely with you, we can assure you we would have done everything in our power to ensure your order was with you as soon as possible. Very good on delivery came in two days. Disappointing with the material and found it hard to tie ( I have worn self tie for many years). So I wouldn't recommend this tie and probably won't wear it again.

We are of course disappointed to hear you would not recommend the bow tie you ordered and will of course take your feedback on board. We are a small, hard working company and do read all reviews personally. With this in mind, on this particular bow tie, the fabric is quite a dense woven one. Whilst we have not heard from anyone else finding it difficult to tie, given your opinion we will consider if the cloth can be adapted in some way the next time it is produced for use as a bow tie. Item ordered over 3 weeks ago for a dinner night which has since passed and have yet to receive the item i ordered. If and when it turns up it will be immediately returned and i expect a full refund.

Ordered tie , sent wrong colour and emailed them to explain that I needed the right colour tie asap as I was going to my sisters wedding in the next week , didn’t get any response from them. Very disappointing

Did not realize that the ties were made in China and the red tie from Vietnam, which was skinnier than the picture showed. Again, I thought these were made in the UK. Disappointed!!!

The ties you ordered were made in China and Vietnam and whilst we do have many ties that are made in the UK, we do not advertise the ones you ordered as being made in the UK. The picture of the red tie you ordered was photographed by ourselves. The tie in the image is the exact tie supplied. It is 7.5cm at widest point as described in the product description. Whilst we understand it isn't always possible to get an perfectly accurate picture of the width from an image, we can assure you that the tie in the image is the actual tie. As a small, hard working company we do very much appreciate your order. We aim to only offer high quality items. While putting them on for the first time they broke. When I went to look at how to return it appears because they are broken I would have to call, too much effort, just won’t buy again from here.

Iv not had my sons tie long as he only started wearing it end of October and the stitch has all come away and the tie is unusable

Wouldn't use Ties planet again. I ordered a particular style sock for myself and my groomsmen for my wedding day only a week before the wedding. When they arrived it said they were non-elastic socks which was not stated on the page of purchase. Caused hassle that wasn't needed when they arrived only two days before the wedding and I had to go out shopping with very little time. Very poor information provided on the item.

Very poor. So much extra length had to get it altered as it didnt stay in place with the hooked buckle - disappointed

The bow tie purchased is a handmade bow tie produced by a very well respected British manufacturer. We will pass your feedback onto them. The neckband on the bow tie is made to fit necks 12" to 20". This can be adjusted accordingly. We are sorry that you were unable to get it to stay in place. This is not a problem we have heard of before but again will pass this feedback on to the manufacturer. Should you ever have an issue such as this again do please let us know as we are always happy to do everything we can to ensure you are completely happy with your purchase. The braces were of good quality, but i have contacted the company via email and tried to phone to ask for details on how to return and have been ignored. So the refund window has now ended and we are stuck with an item we won't ever use.

We respond to all customer emails and have not received an email regarding the return of this order. Similarly, our phone line is open 9am to 5pm weekdays and we answer all phone calls received during this time and get back to any answer machine messages as promptly as possible. We have a 90 day return policy so as your order was placed on 9th June 2019, you are still well within this time period. They sent the wrong item to me but as it was so cheap I couldn’t be bothered to return it for exchange. So it ended up in the bin and I won’t be using them again.
