“Regarding the company, I have bought several items over the past couple of years and spent several hundred pounds. They offer quality, stylish, well made items at good prices. Regarding their Customer Service, I asked a straightforward question regarding their award points and got a (what can only be) generic reply, that did not answer my question. I won't buy from you again (as I don't need to) and I'm sure I won't be missed. Your email reply proved that.”

“Overall the shipment was fast, the shoes are good quality and the exchange (due to size) was smooth. The only bad surprise was the substantial custom fee that I had to pay when I got the package (>10% of the total price!)... I wish I would have known beforehand...”

“I was disappointed in my purchase. They are very stylish and well-made shoes. I was concerned by the condition of the boots when they arrived. I took photos in case I would be held responsible for the marks on the suede. I was assured by one of your staff that this was a normal reaction to suede in shipping. I am returning them because they were too narrow and not comfortable. I am sorry to have to pay $25. to return a product I was dissatisfied with.”

“Ordering and delivery of the shoes were great. The sizing is quite off. I'm a US11 and ordered a 10 and that was still too big. Communication with the help/support team is non-existent, as I've emailed twice and no one has once returned my inquiry.”

Good evening. Sorry to hear the sizing wasn't right. I can see from your product review that you were comparing with casual sneakers which unfortunately almost always fit a whole size smaller than stated. It's best to compare sizes with formal dress shoes. In any case we can exchange them for free for you. As for the email correspondence (of lack of!) “Decent shoes with very poor return and exchange policy and underwhelming customer service. Seems like a good option if you live in London or UK area, if you live in the US or elsewhere then Thomas Bird is not a good option.”

“Belt is a nice color and leather. However size is too long. I ordered a 36 and received a 38. In fact it doesn’t even have size specified on it. Had to take to cobbler to get more holes and shortened.”
