“Great company and great service. Comfortable soft leather, a little big on size, but not enough to return and go through the hassle. I think a 44 1/2 (or 44.5) would probably be a better fit. Don’t know if you have half sizes. Thank you”

“As an experienced retailer I understand the shoe market in detail. I loved the styles and colours of the range from this comoany but given the price and that they are made from one piece of leather I expected them to be using a lower grade hide. Shoes arrived Quickly and I was shocked to see that the quality of the hide really is top end quality hide with perfect stitching, clever well made soles and the colour uniformity were way past the level you would expect with genuine comfort. I would have bought these kind of shoes (which are not easy to make from one piece hide) at circa £400 a pair as they really are amazing quality. Don't hesitate to buy as they will last for a long time and they look better when you see them up close compared to the pictures, even the laces are special. Seriously brilliant shoes and I am so glad I found them.”

“We were incredibly impressed by Thomas Bird. My husband needed a belt for an event and I called to see if we could get an express delivery. Not only was I assured the belt would arrive on time, we had several updates on the progress of the delivery and it did indeed arrive the next day. The belt was an o blood red and went perfectly with my husbands outfit and we were very impressed with the quality. We will definitely use Thomas Bird again”

“I unboxed them and noticed a small hole like mark in the leather near the harness snap. I mentioned it to customer service and they apologized and ensured me that the hole won't grow. I also realized how much money this company would have lost if I returned them. I'm all about supporting great companies. I felt that there was only so much they could do without it being a complete loss on their part. I don't plan on completely babying the boots anyway.”

“Boot did not fit. Could not put my foot in. Samantha was just ok in help with returning boot. I wanted FedEx. Instead of future discount refund my shipping cost.”

Good evening James, sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with your purchase & return experience with Thomas Bird. We don't offer a free global collections service, but if you wanted to exchange them we offer free collection & re-delivery. Returns for refund are subsidised but cost £30. We typically use DHL for returns as they offer us the most competitve rate. Unfortunately we don't have an account with FedEx so was unable to offer this option.
