“Ellington Wholecut Brogue Aubergine First pair I ordered were a half size too small. My fault. Had heard they might run big, but they were true to size. While I’ll have to pay 25 pounds to ship them back to the UK from the US, the company couldn’t have been any better to deal with. Upon calling, they were able to not only ship out a new pair that were the correct size for me, but gave me a 10% discount code on the replacement pair which will end up just about covering the cost of the return shipment. Shipping was fast- spoke with them Monday morning and they were delivered Thursday night. The rep I spoke with on the phone pulled the pair, inspected them and got them ready for shipping with me on the phone. Upon arrival, I saw they also threw in an extra set of laces and a jar of shoe polish. Nice touch. I will buy again.”

“What else can I say, two weeks ago I bought a pair of the blue suede loafers and loved them so much I purchased a second pair. Also, the speed of shipping and response time of questions asked was almost immediate. I would really like to get the brown suede loafers next, but my size was not in stock. You'll LOVE the shoes and service.”

“First of all, I live in the United States. I placed my order and in three days the shoes were at my door. Secondly, the construction of these shoes are absolutely beautiful and top quality. “I have just ordered the Custom Patina Wholecut in Oxblood. Absolutely love these shoes and will definitely be ordering more from Thomas Bird. I have a high instep so I am pleased that I ordered a larger size. I then had to order the matching belt to go with them. I am a new convert to this brand. They arrived very quickly as well; great service.”
