“After an initial hiccup with delivery from DPD (which Sam sorted out) our tomatoes arrived a day late. Sadly some were split/squashed - again Sam sorted that out for me. The tomatoes are nice, but for our liking, most were far too soft & over- ripe (we grow tomatoes which are never picked so soft). Also slightly too many "cherry" & small plum tomatoes in the box. The large tomatoes have better flavours. Maybe the fruits would be better earlier in the season, as soon it is end of season, and will have to wait until next year to try again. I like the fact that they are organic which is good and probably far better than the supermarket. Again, I want to thank Sam for dealing with the small problem that occurred”

“Lovely range of fresh tomatoes - really full of flavour. A couple were a little squished, not sure why the heavier items were on top of the fresh toms, possibly a packing error but it was only a small number damaged. Otherwise, delivery was quick and I received updates so that I knew my tomatoes were on the way. The oak smoked tomatoes were sublime and the pizzaiola tomato sauce and tomato juice are fabulous store cupboard items. I will be ordering again and I would recommend.”

Please don't hesitate to get in touch to our customer service team regarding any damages as they would love to put this right for you. We tend to pack the products on top of the tomatoes to ensure the tomatoes do not have room to jump around and get damaged in transit that way. Our boxes should lock into one another to ensure that the product on the top does not damage anything on the bottom. Hopefully this provides an insight into our packaging and we are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your delivery!

“Ordered many times, every time they arrive the tomatoes are nicely packed, they are always in few stages of ripeness which means I can enjoy them for longer. Always fresh, good quality with that proper tomato taste!”

“I ordered a Heritage tomato box and other pantry items as a (very romantic!) anniversary gift for my husband. He was delighted - the tomatoes were amazing. I was also impressed that The Tomato Stall agreed to delay delivery to arrive near the date and with the packaging and presentation. We won’t wait another year before ordering!!”

“5 stars on all fronts: products, customer service and delivery. I can't eat tomatoes from anywhere else now, these tomatoes will be the best you've ever tasted. Highly, highly recommend their seasonal produce, e.g. their heritage tomatoes box and aubergines. Just had the peppers for the first time and I will never settle for the bland, watery store-bought stuff ever again. I also regularly purchase the passata and love trying the new products. Constant innovation, but I miss the slow-roasted sunsoaked tomatoes. You'll find yourself using less and less seasoning because the ingredients taste incredible and your dishes just won't need it.”

“Love receiving my monthly order of tomatoes, they are beautiful. Also I love the way they are packed very environmentally friendly. My only problem is dpd are putting them out for such an early delivery and being retired I am not awake in time to see the email advising time of arrival. Would appreciate delivery after 9am.”

“This mega-box of organic tomatoes was sent as a gift. The recipient was very pleased with the variety and quality of the produce. She asked me to say that she'd have liked to know which varieties she'd received - I directed her to the website, but she'd have preferred a paper list with the delivery. Excellent anyway.
