“Chris replied to my question of next day delivery arrived Wednesday (well happy).
As you ordered during a Royal Mail strike we used UPS to ship you order otherwise our normal Royal mail service wouldn’t have seen your order dispatched until Monday, and no doubt stuck in a large queue following the strike days recently. We proactively did this in order to avoid any delays for our customers.
On Friday I went to the office at 6:30am in order to pack all order for the earlier UPS collection deadline, and you order was taken by UPS on Friday. UPS don’t do a Saturday delivery so when we ordered the UPS delivery we specifically selected Monday as the delivery day.
As per our policy your order was dispatched on Friday for a next working day delivery, which should have been Monday. Up to this point everything was as it should be.
I can’t see why UPS didn’t deliver the package and it too until Tuesday to reach Inverness, and also considering it was in Inverness yesterday, why it isn’t out for delivery today. This is not the usual UPS service. We have had deliveries to the USA take 2 days recently.
Our policy is upheld with our greatest efforts and it is always very disappointing for us when we hear of items shipped correctly being delivered late. I will raise this with UPS but this won’t help you now, so I will refund 10% of your order as an apology. It is a shame there is nothing else we can do once the delivery is in the hands of UPS.

I received the kYÙSAKICHI 210mm and it's quite a sight the old knife that I once used now is in semi retirement,I sent Chris a photo of the comparison and I hope he puts it on his page.
All in all its a great company and the customer care speaks it will see me go back.

As for the knives they turned up in time very well packaged and very sharp, I had originally ordered 2 of the same knife one with a Japanese handle and one with a western style to see what felt comfortable, after picking one the return for the other was as easy as the order and I ended up exchanging for a bigger chefs knife.
