“We love using 'The PE Hub' to help support our PE planning and teaching at our school. We use it throughout KS1 and KS2 to ensure the children have a good progression of skills taught to them. There is a great choice of units to teach, which we can plot out easily on the curriculum builder on the website. It helps us that the planning gives us ideas to bring into other areas of the curriculum, such as maths and english.
Our children comment on how much they love their PE sessions and can talk a lot about what skills and knowledge they have learned. We even have lots of requests from the children to play some of the games that are used as warm up activities in lessons in our active breaks and lunchtimes.
Our children have loved the extra resources created for special occasions such as 'Children's Mental Health week' and 'National School Sports Week'.
As PE lead, I have found 'The PE Hub' to be a great support for my role. They have lots of resources to help me organise the subject and are quick at responding to any queries we have. I find that they work very collaboratively with us as a school to help meet the individual needs of our children.

“All of the staff are enjoying teaching from PE Hub and state that the children are engaged in the lessons. I feel that a way to improve would be to include some training for staff about the use of PE Hub as we would've loved to have done some in school. I don't feel like the presentation is enough as I have had to do a lot of extra reading around PE Hub to deliver to staff.”

“Wow, what can I say. An excellent PE site for our primary school. Wish we had used it earlier. ALL teachers are loving using the lesson plans as they are so easy to follow, easy to implement, are progressive and you can dip into other years if there are gaps in learning due to Covid. The curriculum planner is excellent and the learning outcomes and success criteria provide a great basis for the children's assessments.”
