Im sorry about this. I can see that you parcel came back to us today as undeliverable. I cannot see any emails or live chat messages from you, but I will try to get in touch with you via phone today. We will be able to get this reshipped for you right away but just need to double check your delivery details.

“Legs themselves are nice but they didn’t come with the correct screws/bolts. Contacted the company and they said they’d send some out to me but I haven’t received any.”

Hi Chloe, I am sorry to hear this. I checked our emails but cannot see anything from you under your name or email address. Maybe you contacted us via a different email? We would have sent screw replacements via Royal Mail, but I will get some resent now with DPD.

“Tom, I haven't attached the table legs we bought to the table top yet - we're awaiting its arrival. The legs look very consistent and well made, but until we fix them we won't truly know. When I do I will be happy to respond - hopefully all the legs are exactly the same height and our table will be perfectly flat! Regards Rob”

“Bit slow on the delivery side of things up here aberdeenshire, over a week so far and still waiting for a packet of "feet" /that would have been quicker posted. Shame but I know the product fits and works for me.”

Hi Martin, Sorry about this. I see you placed the order on Saturday afternoon, and we shipped Monday on a 1 - 4 day service as selected at checkout. We offer a guaranteed next-day upgrade at checkout, which covers Aberdeen for future reference. As far as I can see, they arrived on the 17th. “I ordered a white table. Very quick delivery. The only problem is the wood is rough and appears untreated so will likely get stained. When wiping the table top the cloth catches on the wood and makes it hard to clean.”

“Just a quick review and i would be leaving 5 stars as the product is great. However when received there were no feet supplied with the legs. I reported this by email and in a few days received the feet in the post. I had ordered three sets of legs and only received two sets of feet so once again reported the missing parts for a second time via email. When these didnt arrive in the first place i would expect someone to look to see how many legs were ordered and supply the correct number of feet. Silly mistakes but great products at a great price.”

“Average service (stated 1-7 day delivery on the website for the item; actually delivered 15 days.) The item itself (a desk) was only average in quality - we had to hand sand down the edges as they were a bit rough and snagged any clothing. You can also still see where their machine that must have cut the table top has made slight bumps along the edges. The legs are great - no issues there - and the table itself is sturdy. Not bad for the price.”

“Sturdy desk with lovely copper legs. Wipeable top too. Suggestion is that the packaging is improved along the edges of the desk. Table arrived with a small dent on the bottom of one of the long side edges which is noticeable and could have been avoided. Perhaps extend the polystyrene over the full length of the table and not just the corners?”

“Super easy to put together and looks great! 😎😍 The small sized desk is perfect for a home-office desk. If you like a lot of clear space, though, go for a Large option. Comes well packaged. Though I was disappointed to find that there were two scratches in the table-top as I took it out of the box 😕 - hence the dropped rating. Would have been 5⭐️ if no scratches.”

“The long legs were excellent in every respect. The very short hairpin legs were lovely to look at, but were very difficult to screw on; this was because of the location of 2 of the holes in relation to the legs - it was impossible to position any kind of screwdriver, even a short handled manual screwdriver, in such a way as to turn the screwdriver in order to drive the screw in.”

“The legs were nicely welded and solid, though they came without feet and attachments and with some damage to the clear coat. Customer service were quick to send out the feet and fixings and remedy the problem with the damage. Table is a little wobbly with the legs, but it might need a thicker top to sort this.”

“I was so happy to receive my order. Well packaged, including little feet attachments and all the screws required to get going, and a quality product. The reason for not giving full stars is because I was left feeling sad by the very fact the legs had not been cleaned (uncoated steel) and we’re covered in a black film that got on the cream carpet when unpacked and all over my hands. I had to wash them before I could continue. This isn’t something I would expect from a company like this, especially when they cost quite a bit more than the alternative I had considered, and when I called to discuss it I was told to leave a review! I would welcome some feedback from you Hairpin Leg Co as I was advised this isn’t how you would normally send out a product. I only ordered uncoated as the other silver colour wasn’t in stock and, again, I was advised you have been very busy. Too busy to quality check your orders?”

Hello, I am really sorry to see this. I would just like to start off by saying that our raw steel/unfinished legs are not suitable to put onto a clean carpet. I would suggest that if this is where you are intending to use them we get them replaced for something more suitable right away. We do have a few points of description and FAQ on the website that says raw steel will rust, even indoors and is only intended for use by people who wanted a rusted industrial look or are intending to finish them themselves. Our raw steel legs are shipped with a thin layer of oil (the legs are cleaned prior to applying the mineral oil but it can draw out dirt from the steel). Without the oil, the legs would turn up to you in the box with rust on and that is not what anyone wants. Please do send get in contact with us about switching these out with a more suitable style for you ASAP.

“The desk top arrived and a day later the legs arrived !! Odd shipping ! The wood on the sides of the desk is untreated and rough , a bit disappointed the finish. Is should been smooth and treated I would imagine. The hairpin legs are good however.”
