“Ordered a large black hook. First one damaged. Sent a replacement. Second one wasn’t much better. Cannot be bothered to contact again. Such a shame as the designs are great. Will not order again.”

Hey, I am really sorry to see this. We certainly do not expect you to be accepting any defective products. We get very very few issues on these so it is a little confusing. The last one was actually checked prior to sending so it would be really useful to see what the issue was. Please do get back in contact so we can resolve this.

“Only just had chance to open package but disappointed as there is alot of rust on legs and they are not even lacquered considering the cost”

Hi Richard, I am sorry to hear this. We do sell a lacqured version of these legs, but for this order you purchased raw steel which will rust over time. The legs should be coated in a thin film of oil to prevent them from arriving rusty, however this can dry up over time in our storage. It sounds like you probably wanted our clear coated legs which have the same look and feel, but are protected from rusting. It would be great if you can pop us over an email so we can get this sorted for you.

Hello, Really sorry to hear this. You bought a small desk as 120x60cm. The photos listed mostly show the larger desk to show you the style but we do have the measurements clearly listed as small and large. If you wanted to change to the 150x75cm large desk, this is not a problem. Do just let us know.

“Great table, really smart and easy to put together. Feels really good quality however when unpacked there was a small dent in the surface, about an inch in diameter. Whilst not deep it is clearly visible and spoils the otherwise clean style of the table. Most disappointingly, after contacting the company I received no reply.”

“Quick delivery, but the finish on both the legs and worktop are disappointing. There is paint chipping on the legs. Whilst it is near where the legs attach to the worktop, not sure it will wear well over time. The worktop edging is rough, and catches clothes, and the radius finish could have been better. Made the mistake of disposing of the packaging, otherwise would have requested a refund. Expected better quality for the price.”

“The black finish on my 40 inch hairpin legs has significant chipping on all four legs right out of the box. There are large patches on each of the legs that are missing the finish. It is not a great quality paint and I am worried it will continue to chip. I would submit photos if I could.”

“The hooks themselves seemed like good quality, but sadly for the price was disappointed as only received 2 out of 8 screws. In addition, the screw caps were meant to be black but they were all chipped to reveal gold below. Not great quality for the price paid.”

“The service for the order was fine and the product is fine albeit the welding on the frames could be better as a butt joint was still visible to the underside of the cross member. My only disappointment for a company that presents itself as small friendly business was the blank response I received to request to match a copper finish to hairpin and table legs. I end up buying the products in the raw and sending to be finished elsewhere which is frustrating and expensive. The response simply repeated what the website told me with no effort to look into the enquiry much as you would expect from the likes of amazon with remote service centres.”

Hello, I am sorry to hear of this disappointment. I read back through your email and do agree we could have dealt with that better. I believe at this time we were out of stock of a few items so a lot of our emails were stock requests and this was just dealt with as one of these. Regarding the copper industrial legs, this is simply something that we cannot offer at the moment. Our coating supplier deals only in high volumes and we do not have a low volume coater at this stage. We did look into it before but getting even just 10 sets of legs coated at a time was going to cost in the region of £40 a leg which we did not consider as a viable option by a long way. We never got any samples from any of these coaters so would not be comfortable in suggesting them to our customers, without knowing quality or service they offer. The information you received back was correct, but it was sent across a little bluntly and I am sorry for this. We may look to do the industrial legs in more finishes in the future, but we are only a small company and need to make sure we can deliver what we offer at the moment reliably before expanding further. If you did want to share you experience of getting your legs coated, this may be useful to help others in the future... totally understand if not though. Regards, Adam
