“When buying as a present make sure you collect it when the wife isn't at home. With Drinks Basket all over the box, the present was a bit ruined.”

“Ordering was straight forward, delivery was quick and very good packaging to ensure no breakages. Extensive range of drinks not found in the supermarkets. Would recommend. Note, sale prices quoted exclude vat, would be helpful if both prices were listed.”

“A 4 only because it was a fraction late and although well packaged it appears to not be hugely environmentally sound. I chose The Drinks Basket purely because they sold the rum I was looking for. That they had the rum was the first hurdle the reasonable rate was the second, they didn't disappoint.”

“Disappointed at first as received incorrect order. However one phone call later the correct order was dispatched the next day and I was told I could keep the incorrect order as a thank you for being patient! All in all a happy customer.”

“The drinks selection is huge and far more comprehensive than supermarkets or off-licenses which is fantastic, and everything I wanted to order was in stock. I understand that the order needs to be signed for when received, however taking it to a Post Office instead of a Post Depot for collection (if delivered when out) is hugely inconvenient. Reading Post Office is in the middle of town with no parking nearby, so I had to lug a large box containing six bottles some distance, whereas Reading Depot has parking directly outside. I wouldn't be able to order again unless the parcel could be taken to a Depot.”

“The ordering process and delivery times are excellent. My criticism is of the wine, I ordered it because I was curious as to the taste of Domaine Saint Ferreol Rose wine made from the viognier grape from the Languedoc region as in the description. I have bought Saint Ferreol Viognier for years and love it. What I received was Domaine Saint Ferreol Rose from Provence made from Grenache-Syrah-Cinsault-Carignan. It is OK as a Rose wine but there are better rose wines from Provence”

“We orderd tin cup whisky as it came with a lantern tin for a gift , but the blow up packaging squashed it and tin was all dented . It Didn’t look great when we have a a gift ☹️ - the price was good and delivery time was 2 days 👍🏽”

“Reasonable prices, delivered in the time stated with be enjoying with friends at the weekend. As people have stated on other reviews, the packaging was a little damaged, this was the actual whiskey box on one of the two bottles I orderednot the outer packaging. This is a shame as overall the service is excellent, I am just glad that I wasn’t giving it as a gift.”
