“Delivery was short of 1x£45 bottle champagne. Rang straight away but no one answering phone so sent an email. Was promised delivery of missing bottle within 24 hours. Subsequent day, it still hasn't arrived, I've rung twice and no one ringing me back. Shocking service and I am still short of an expensive bottle bubbly. Update - Received call back following leaving this review and missing bottle was then sent and safely received.”

“I recently went for an Italian meal with my work colleagues and had some Santero prosecco. This is loveliest prosecco I have ever had, (being a dedicated prosecco drinker)! However you cannot buy it from any shops. I did a search on line and found the Drinks Basket sold it. I ordered 2 bottles and it was delivered really quickly with good communication. It was very well packaged. I have seen some other items here which I will definitely be purchasing and will be using the drinks basket in the near future. Excellent.!”

“ordered toffee vodka on Saturday using my phone. Paid for next day delivery assuming it would be Monday. When it didn't arrive I phoned. Next day delivery is only Monday to Friday, something that didn't appear blindingly obvious when ordering by phone! The guy I spoke to did refund my next day delivery costs and I actually got it delivered on Thursday. So good customer service but think the charges could be made clearer. Product itself is fantastic.”

“I ordered a bottle of Japanese whiskey for a birthday present and asked for next day delivery. I paid extra for this service and ordered on Thursday evening it didn't turn up until Tuesday. I was told I would get my postage refunded back to me. I am still waiting for this to happen! I like the idea of the business and I know they can't do anything about the post office messing up but when you offer to refund a customer you should follow through with your promises.”

“J&B is my husband's favourite whisky and this is the only place I can find it at a reasonable price, apart from the airport. Service is excellent and the product comes well-packed. Have used them several times and will continue to do so. Definitely recommend.”

“I ordered Yamazaki Single Malt whiskey as a birthday present for my boyfriend. I received the Paypal confirmation but was worried I didn't receive the company confirmation and freaked out that it may not have gone through properly. I emailed the company and they replied almost instantly, advising the order had gone through, and already been dispatched!! They also advised checking my junk mail, and sure enough, there it was!! The whisky came the next day, perfectly packaged. It was such fast delivery, and such great communication. Also, the price was better than anywhere else. I meant to send a note saying thank you but I've had a hectic week. So .... THANK YOU! Couldn't recommend you enough, and will be using you for my dad's birthday whiskey too!!!”

“my purchase didn't arrive, they resent it but that didn't arrive either and then they were out of stock. However I was happy with service because they dealt with all my emails promptly and after they couldn't fulfill my initial order they refunded me my money promptly and sent me a free drink of my choice. Which arrived the very next day.”
