“The ordering process and delivery times are excellent. My criticism is of the wine, I ordered it because I was curious as to the taste of Domaine Saint Ferreol Rose wine made from the viognier grape from the Languedoc region as in the description. I have bought Saint Ferreol Viognier for years and love it. What I received was Domaine Saint Ferreol Rose from Provence made from Grenache-Syrah-Cinsault-Carignan. It is OK as a Rose wine but there are better rose wines from Provence”

“Sourcing specialist beverages has become less difficult thanks to The Drinks Basket. Sometimes, when you find that tipple that just sings in your glass, it can be difficult to find a store to keep the melodies flowing. However, now that I have The Drinks Basket in my sights, I can look forward to long autumn evenings savouring the delights with close friends and family”

“I found The Drinks Basket whilst doing Google search for a gin gift set for a friend's 50th birthday. I ordered the Fifty Pounds gin set: a bottle of gin and 2 branded balloon glasses. Delivery was as specified and the set arrived very well packaged and intact, which was a worry ordering glass through the post. I was impressed with service and also the good price for this set. My friend loved his birthday present. I will be ordering from here again, thank you”

“Ordered but didn't receive a confirmation email. Followed up with the company who said they had no record of the order, I therefore ordered again from a different company. A few days later the order turned up, so I emailed the company, who said they would sort it. After that I receive no further communications from them, despite numerous emails.”

“Ordered a bottle of Asbach brandy on Sunday 9 September, order stated arrival in 3 - 5 days, it arrived morning of Wednesday 12 September. Excellent service, will definitely order some more, fully recommend using The Drinks Basket. *****”

“We orderd tin cup whisky as it came with a lantern tin for a gift , but the blow up packaging squashed it and tin was all dented . It Didn’t look great when we have a a gift ☹️ - the price was good and delivery time was 2 days 👍🏽”

“The Drinks Basket came up with an American Bourbon I had been trying to get in the UK for some time. The price was very reasonable compared with the dollar price I paid last year in New York. The website was clear and easy to use and delivery prompt. Can't ask for more. Well done.”

“Irish Mist is an excellent and well known liqueur and The Drinks Basket offers it at a competitive price. Despatch was prompt an the box arrived within 48 hours. However,, upon opening the box it was seen that the wrong liqueur had been sent and the company was immediately informed. They were very apologetic and undertook to send the correct bottles the next day on a 24 hour delivery. They did not arrive the next day, and when queried, the company explained that the despatch department had put their own address on the box instead of mine, and that it had been delivered straight back to the company. Again, my order was promised for delivery the next day, and this time the delivery was on time and with the correct contents. So they work very hard to keep the customer happy, but at this stage there seem to be quite a lot of teething problems in the packing and despatch departments. Having said all of this, I would give them another chance in the future..”
