“Coffee is great. Free shipping is nice but shame it isn't tracked. Coffee packaging doesn't come in resealable bag like other coffee services. Part of the survey asks how long did the delivery take, my delivery took 6 days but my only options are less than 5, or over 7.”

“It's high time I reviewed this place. I was recommended it years ago by a friend and its been nothing but amazing. I get the discovery subscription so i get 500g every month split into 4 bags from 2 different microlots. The coffee I get is sensational. The coffee factory in their blurb says the minimum score is 80 for their coffees in this subscription and as a comparison I have had 3 separate orders from pact that were minimum 86 and I must say TCF blew them out of the water in every single time. I have since recommend TCF to a fellow coffee connoisseur who has tried all sorts of serviced and he says TCF were the winners. I would recommend TCF 10 times out of 10. My setup is a sage espresso machine which admittedly does a lot of the calculations for me but the coffee that comes out at the end is incredible. What goes in is top quality coffee! Thanks TCF”

“I have had a subscription for over six years now and the coffee I've received is 1st class. My first visit to the shop was when we were on holiday and they gave me lots of advice. When I started off using their ground coffee but now use beans, having upgraded the equipment I use to make the perfect cuppa to begin my day.”

“Was gifted a subscription and received 2 bags of coffee beans.. neither of which are anyway close to my taste. When I try to change my subscription to select a different bean I’m told that the difference in pack size does not make this possible (?). So it seems that I will go on to receive 2 random bags of beans until the subscription expires that are someone else’s choice and are likely to go straight in the bin - very sad and environmentally dumb. I was hoping for an opportunity to try other beans and roasts based around my love of the coffee that usually drink.. I don’t understand why this isn’t possible. How is this an appropriate gift for a ‘coffee geek’?”

Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I am sorry to hear that the coffee beans were not to your taste. I understand that this was a gift and as the gift recipient, you are not able to change your type of gift subscription. However, I would like to inform you that if you had reached out to us, we would have been more than happy to swap the coffee for you and resolve the issue. Standard subscriptions are however completely customisable. As you have received a gift of the Discovery pack, you will receive 2 different coffees to try, hopefully these will be to your liking. We encourage you to try them before throwing the coffee in the bin. Additionally, I would like to mention that our packaging is home compostable, which is an environmentally friendly aspect of our brand. I want to address the fact that this review seems quite harsh, especially considering that you have only tried one delivery of our coffee and it doesn't appear that you have contacted us about this issue. As a family-run business, it saddens us to receive such feedback, and we hope that this review won't have a detrimental impact on our business. If there is anything else we can do to assist you or if you have any further concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

“Top quality coffee for a fair price! I get a totally new roaster's choice coffee every month and have yet to be disappointed. No issues at all with delivery as their 250g bags are letterbox friendly. If I'd like a delivery earlier/later it's very easy to adjust via my account. Can't recommend the service enough, try them today!”

“Posted this on Trustpilot as well: Been using The Coffee Factory for a couple of years now. I get the Roaster's Choice, delivered every two weeks. The quality of the coffee is always excellent, plus there is a real variety as the coffee changes on a regular basis. Indian and Chinese coffees have been suprisingly good. But the reason I felt compelled to write a review, is that for the first time ever, my coffee was not delivered. I emailed the support team, who confirmed that it had been sent and also included proof that it had been delivered. So really not their fault. But they then sent a replacement pack free of charge which arrived today. It was customer service far beyond what I expected. But sign up to the subscrition service for the coffee, not for the customer service!”

“I'm not a coffee expert or snob, but this is the nicest homebrew coffee all of us in the flat have had. We've been subscription members for nearly two years and get two 125grms bags a week. So so convenient, bargain prices and yet so tasty. We get a mix-match of different blends and regions each month and each is as nice as the next. I've tried others as well in the meantime and can honestly say we will be sticking with CF for as long as we are in the UK.”
