“Extremely happy with my cosy blanket but even more so with the fact that nothing is wasted and 'scrap' yarn is used to make something beautiful. I love the philosophy of this wonderful company that historic English mills and the art of weaving, that has been used for centuries, is preventing this art from fading away into the history books.”

“I ordered two identical picnic blankets with straps which were delivered quickly by tracked courier, so I was home to receive them. They met every expectation and I'm sure the two couples who received them will use them for many years to come, reminding them of their 7th (wool) wedding anniversary. Thank you...would recommend The British Blanket Company wholeheartedly.”

“Blanket was rather scratchy. It was made from leftovers- but other blankets have been soft. Also. Very dark and not colourful like the ones shown. I missed the return date as I was away when it was delivered.”

I'm sorry to hear this - our Random Recycled Blanket do have a more rustic texture than our pure new wool and merino blankets as they're made from remnant yarns. “Almost all my life I have been a sheet and blankets man. I hate duvets. Whatever the tog, they are always too hot. They slip about. They gather bulk at the foot end. But three years ago the MOTH got my blankets. I threw them in the bin. I caved in and started using a duvet. But I came to hate it, and recently bought the BBC lambswool herringbone blanket. Bliss. Back to comfort. A quality cotton sheet. The BBC blanket. And on top a silk bed cover. I am at home again at night.”

“Wool blankets if looked after last a lifetime or two with this in mind and a preference in our family over duvets I purchased every size available in one colour for a member of our family who is turning 21.A birthday where you want to gift long lasting presents. I also purchased another colour for another family member and while they are yet to receive them I know there will be a blanket response of happiness from both receipients”
