An order for a desk was placed before 3pm (Thursday) for next day delivery (Friday), it was only when I called up for the second time (4pm Friday) I was informed it had not been picked up by the courier because it was past the cut off time when the order was placed. When I called up at the beginning of the day (Friday) I was told I would have it before 5pm, instead of being told it was not collected by the couriers, haven’t received the product and the soonest it can be delivered is Wednesday next week, not very impressed

I am sure that the product will be fine when it gets here. the message that you get "item has been dispatched to our third party supplier" is factually incorrect and whats more the Work place Depot know this! Please be clearer with your messaging in future

Hi Nick, Thank you for taking the time to provide a review. I am sorry your experience with us has not been perfect. I know my colleague Becca has been in touch and I wanted to reach out to you on the back of your review. I know Becca notified you that at the time of placing your order, the lead time on your product is 50-60 working days as the product is manufactured to order. Our system is set up to generate dispatch notification emails and unfortunately, there is no way of turning these off as we want to allow customers to view a secondary confirmation/explanation of tracking of their order. I understand that the auto-generated email was confusing. We'd like another opportunity to support you in the future so please let me know if there is anything I can do to support you. Ordered a pallet dolly on a Monday to urgently move a large heavy object that was blocking the way ahead of important event this weekend. The confirmation email said the order had been despatched but gave no tracking, but said "your tracking number is LEADTIME AS PER WEBSITE" which was 2-3 days delivery. By Friday nothing had come, phoned customer service who called back later to say the item would shipped today! i.e. nothing had happended until I chased it! Not very happy with communication and lax delivery....
