“I did the 120 hour combined course and it was an incredible experience. I felt that the modules were interesting and well structured. The 20 hour classroom training was really fun, and the teacher was excellent. Overall I found the course to be excellent and I am now really excited and genuinely motivated to help others through teaching English. I am planning on moving to Portugal and now I feel confident that I will be able to work and develop my skills. I would recommend this course to anyone who is ready for a career change or wants to work and travel at the same time!”

“The layout of the coursebooks was really easy to understand and follow. The use of exercises along with the study material made it easy to learn and remember the material. The tests at the end of each module was a good way to check if I could apply and remember what I learnt. Your response and feedback on my assignments was quick and the reason I was given a specific grade was thoroughly explained so that I know what to work on in the future. I love the fact that you keep me up to date with TEFL job opportunities. Thank you for a great course!”

“from the very outset it was enjoyable and well presented. the weekend of teaching was excellent and covered a lot of areas of the course to aid familiarity when doing the modules.the group and teacher were lovely. The online part was easy to follow, covered very clearly the tests were speedily marked which was fun.”

“I'm very happy to have completed the course. It's so much more than just a review. A couple of modules were a little more challenging for me than others were. I have never seen an IPA chart before so that was new. The end of course assignments seemed overwhelming at first but I was able to get them done. Now I am able to make a lesson plan and hope to be teaching in China within a few months.”

“The quality of the course - materials, support and ongoing revision and testing - encouraged me to progress and take on the new information and skills on offer. The work done in class with face-to-face tutor feedback was well managed and we enjoyed the two days as a group. I felt enthused to complete the self-study on-line part of the course and this was well structured, with ongoing tests, revision and feedback. I would recommend the course to anyone considering a career in TEFL.”

“I was seeking for a good online TEFL course for a week or so. I've read tons of reviews and watched few videos on youtube. Nothing fit my needs. Then I found The TEFL Academy, what caught my eye was the price of a course. In other places price is a little bit steep, but TEFL Academy provides you with an excellent experience for a fair price. Huge appreciations for the TEFL Academy team, keep on going!”

“The 120 hour online material was really interesting and unique!End of module tests check your knowledge and understanding of this material. Assignments 1 and 2 are the real piece of practice teachers will need in their job for sure. I needed this certificate in order to apply for a job in China!Thank you very much!It was really a great experience!”
