“I am so pleased to now have an English teaching qualification. It is not something I had ever planned but I am now living outside of England and have more opportunities because of this qualification. It has been a very intense and challenging 6 months! It is very detailed and in-depth but I have learnt many useful and helpful concepts. It has also been interesting, as being a native speaker I don't really think about the individual letters and sounds I am making but now understand it better myself which will help with teaching. The feedback for the assignments was always in the expected time limit and was detailed and constructive. It was also very helpful to be able to continue with the units while waiting for the feedback from an assignment. The one issue I have with this course is the 6 month time limit to qualify. Thankfully I had few commitments at the time of completing the course but I still struggled to finish in time and was unable to keep up with my study schedule for the majority of the course. I am so pleased I have completed this course and I would recommend it to anyone who is in a position to teach English in a different country.”

“Hi , i did a 168 hour course with Tefl academy , and really enjoyed the course as it was made simple to understand and to work with . There online research sites were to the point of helping you. Their creating a ticket system was quick to reply if one had a problem , and always able to solve the problems i encountered. I would recommend the academy to anyone wanting to get into the teaching industry.”

“At my ripe old age of 56 and semi retired, decided to look at teaching English online. Did the Level 5 TEFL course as well as the Business English and Teaching Online add-ons. Initially I struggled to get the brain working (been a long time since formal studies), but the course is so well laid out, logical and I did learn a lot. The assignments were not easy but I triumphed! Anyone who wants to do this kind of course, I would highly recommend.”

“Really comprehensive, enjoyable course. The assignments are a useful way of learning to plan for a lesson and provide good classroom materials and the feedback from experienced teachers is really helpful and highlights areas that could be improved. “The TEFL online course is very good. It is structured extremely well. There is a strong focus on teaching you how to teach and gives you lots of GREAT IDEAS!! The flow of information is very evenly distributed. If one lesson is very heavy, the lesson following it is lighter. This is very helpful in terms of digesting all the information. The tutors are very helpful and will always reply when you contact them. I learnt a lot and am grateful I did the course! TEFL Academy found wonderful resources for us to use both articles to read and online videos to watch. EXCELLENT COURSE.”

“I studied my Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) with The TEFL Academy. I would really recommend this course to any EFL teacher wanting to teach English online or in a foreign country. The TEFL Academy group is very helpful when you need their assistance and they give detailed feedback on all assignment so that you know exactly were you need to step up etc. Their response on questions takes about a day or 2, because of the time difference, but there they also give detailed feedback on your question and also some suggestions that you could do to make things easier. I really enjoyed my course and would recommend The TEFL Academy to anyone. Thank you so much, you have opened a new world of possibilities for me.”

“I took the Level 5 168-hr Combined course, I found the course very useful for introducing new teachers to the world of TEFL and giving them the tools they will need to get started. The assignments in particular are great practice, and the feedback given very concise and constructive. I would recommend taking the combined course to gain some practical experience and tips from the instructor. After comparing TEFL Academy to other providers, I would definitely recommend it for getting a TEFL qualification!”

“The Online TEFL course at the TEFL Academy has been a great experience. The course contents are clear and helpful. The grading system has the appropriate academic rigour, making this course worth the investment. Tutors at the Academy are helpful and supportive. “I was in Mexico when I did the Level 5 TEFL Online Course (168 hours) while I was teaching private classes to locals of different ages. The course structure is very professional and the assignments challenge the student to go beyond their screen. After every chapter I tried to apply the new aspects to my classes and I will use these aspects for the rest of my life.”

“Thank you for the course. It has been a great experience and I learned a lot. I enjoyed all the little tests and the assignments. “The course is very accessible. It has a lot of detail & help is easily available should you need it. The assignments are varied & interesting and the unit tests are not too long. You are allowed to re-take the tests as many times as you like so the pressure isn’t there. All in all, a great course.”
