“The TEFL Academy course I have taken is probably the first online course that turned out useful and applicable in everyday life. I still use loads of materials given in the course, and I have learned a lot what helps me to make my lessons interesting, untrivial and very popular. It also lets me look at teaching at some psycological angle, and now I am using that knowledge while creating my signature materials. If ou ask me whether to take this course, I would certainly answer "YES!"”

“I had been thinking of attending a course like this for a while, and I have managed to make the most of this endless lockdown by finally attending one. I chose the TEFL Academy because most of the feedback I read was positive, because I liked the idea that real tutors would grade my assigments and because the job assistance offered was also higly praised. I really found the course engaging, hard at times but rewarding, and I learnt a lot. The assigments were challenging but also the most interesting part! I'm glad I listened to the advice and made a study plan from the beginning, because the course can be completed within 6 months (I work full time) but you must be organised and keep an eye on the calendar :)”

“In my opinion, The TEFL Academy is by far the best academy available online. I chose to study the Level 5 TEFL Course when I read that it would be certified in both the USA and the UK. I really enjoyed my studies and feel that the course was comprehensive, well-designed, sufficiently challenging and clearly laid out. I would highly recommend doing the 20 hour in classroom training that is offered with the 168 hour course, it was great to get some practical experience and connect with other students.”

“This was overall an excellent course. The coursework was very well structured with assignments that were realistic and became progressively more difficult (as it should be). I appreciated the detailed feedback from tutors regarding the assignments. Furthermore, tutors responded to inquiries in a timely fashion and gave helpful advice. I'm completely satisfied with this course and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in pursuing a TEFL career. Thank you TEFL Academy!”

“First of all I have to tell that I have already taught languages for a decade so it might influence my opinion and may be different from those who have really started to learn with only few or even without experience. One reason for me to start this course was further education. Plus it was completely online, so I was able to organise my schedule myself. You have to be disciplined to get through though, because noone will remind you when you get lazy. The Units are short enough to get through them in a convenient space of time, if you want, you can finish one in one-two days. The stress is on living teaching and didactics and less about theory in gramar etc. Although die Adacemy provides further information and links, people who know only little about the theory should urgently study themselves because the course might not be enough. Being a mother tongue doesn't mean you are a teacher, so don't forget to cram the theory! The explanations are pretty good and provide many good advices. After a decade of teaching I really felt motivated to try out new ideas, sheets etc., pretty remarkable. The assigments are profound and offer good feedback. You get a lot of help so everyone who really puts the effort in it can manage to pass them. The assigment feedback was the best about the course in my opinion. Doing them is not fun, but I wasn't there to be entertained but to learn something. So better you plan a free day to concentrate on your assigments because you might have to resubmit them without mercy, when its completed half-hearted. All in all I have learned a lot even as a teacher and I think it was definitely worth it - also if you take the price into consideration.”

“And I thought I knew my English. With out doubt TEFL is the master when it comes to training teachers. Would I recommend this course to others - absolutely. It certainly stretched me, certainly made me feel uncomfortable, but whoa do I feel confident now. Yes, yes, yes - a must do for any aspiring teacher.”
