“This TEFL course was great, it included a lot of really useful information that was simple to work through, while also teaching me a lot about how to be a successful English teacher. I particularly enjoyed the interactive activities throughout the course as they helped me to consolidate the information I had learnt. The online platform that the course is taught on is effective and easy to navigate, meaning that I could work through the course at my own pace so that I got the most out of my learning. I would definitely recommend this course!”

“I can honestly say that I have achieved something during this global pandemic! I successfully completed the Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and passed it with really good results. The course is intense and thorough, but what do you expect. I am looking forward to starting my new career after being a travel consultant for 31 years! Its a great challenge ahead and I can't wait to impart knowledge to the hungry minds out there. So, if you are looking for an outlet, TEFL is definitely the way to go. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to enrich myself as well. Carmenthia Jacobs”

“I am mostly happy with the fact that I have gone through this whole period of almost 6 months and what an intense and rewarding time I had! I finished the Level 5 TEFL and can only say that I had moments when I felt empowered when studying something I knew already. Definitely, I was really curious and intrigued to learn more and gather more knowledge as teaching was something I have done without an official preparation. I have to say that I am taking with me a lot of new insights and tips for how to handle the classroom and for that I can only say a big THANK YOU!”

“Doing the Online Level 5 TEFL course was a seamless process with The TEFL Academy. The course was both informative and interactive. The support offered was superb. The feedback on assignments was in depth allowing you to not only truly succeed in fulfilling the requirements of the assignment but also prepare you adequately for the teaching journey ahead. It was an excellent course from the TEFL Academy and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking at upskilling themselves in teaching English as a foreign language.”

“The TEFL Academy is amazing! The Level 5 course is so well set out. It walks you through all the steps and tests you on the way to make sure you are concentrating and learning all the time. The tests are spot on and the assignments are detailed and very well organised. The markers are helpful and speedy with their responses. Communication is key and TEFL have this spot on. I would definitely, without question, recommend the TEFL Academy. Well done all who work there!”

“I completed The TEFL Academy’s Level 5 TEFL Course this year. I found the online learning aspect excellent, a real upgrade from the online learning that was part of my university degree around ten years ago. In terms of content, it provided a solid overview of the key aspects of teaching English, and outlined the trickier elements (some grammar, for example) exceptionally well. The in-person teaching weekend was also great – possibly the highlight of the entire course. I would heartily recommend this course to anyone interested in teaching English.”

“Anyone looking to start their TEFL certification journey will know that there are a lot of possible companies to go with. However, the legitimacy and use of these companies' certificates vary greatly and can easily overwhelm a prospective TEFLer. After doing some research - and speaking with a family member - I decided on The TEFL Academy. First of all, no regrets. This company really seems to care about each individual student of theirs and this is proven in each and every piece of correspondence I had with them. I did not feel like a statistic at all, but rather like I was their sole student and my success was as important to them as it was to me. The course is extremely well laid out, with the student able to see exactly what is expected of them, what needs to be done and when etc. What's more, the course provides a host of useful resources that I'm definitely going to rely on in my teaching journey. Several relevant pieces of information - issues such as cultural sensitivity, the age-appropriateness of lessons, how to present yourself - are also presented throughout the course work. The theory of teaching English as a foreign language can be rather repetitive for native speakers, but not once did I feel an urge to complain, give in or stumble. I simply sat down one day, got started and before I knew it I was certified. My requests and concerns were always promptly and professionally dealt with, and I am extremely happy to say that - in conjunction with my Degree - my 168-Hour TEFL certificate caught the eye of many a future employer. I am nearly on my way to becoming an English teacher in The People's Republic of China via a recruitment company advertising their services on The TEFL Academy's website, and the fact that this company was featured on your website put me at ease. I honestly do not have much of a critique. You have proven yourself during this trying year as a company of compassion, care and substance. Keep at it!”

“The Level 5 TEFL course from TEFL Academy is a challenging, yet interesting course. There is so much to learn about the English language and how it can be taught. The course encourages 'outside of the box thinking'. I have been teaching for a few years and yet I got a few ideas on how to make my classes a bit more interesting. Next step now is to go overseas.”

“To The TEFL Academy I have just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course and I cant put into words how great It was. The online portal was inviting, clear and informative. I loved all the content and I was excited for each new unit. I have learned so much over the last 6 months. The support I was given in order for me to get through the course was amazing for lack of better words. I would have liked to have more information on things like online teaching but knowing that I can speak to you all about it even after my course is finished makes me feel like you go the extra mile. “The course was very well organised, the tasks were clear, the platform was user friendly and easy to follow. It also contained useful information and I particularly like the further reading section because I found so many interesting facts there. All in all it was a great course, I applied for a new job in Sweden using this certification so it was very useful in finding the right job for me.”

“I enrolled on the Level 5 TEFL Course with the TEFL Academy at the end of last year. I started with the 20 hour classroom which I particularly recommend. I am happy to say I remembered aspects of the classroom event as I went through the course, my teacher was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I enjoyed the course it builds up gradually and gets difficult enough that I thought about giving up twice! I am happy to say that I learnt a lot and I know that I will always be able to put it to good use in a learning environment. Excellent enjoyable course, I recommend to anybody who wants to teach English abroad.”

“Thanks for the thorough Level 5 TEFL Course! It was a a thorough course with assignments that helped me practise pulling together written lesson preparation assignments, which is an essential part of being a teacher. I was really glad of this practice and the helpful feedback! I appreciated the depth of material covered around lesson preparation, grammar, and how to teach vocabulary, and much more. I found the assignments the most challenging aspect, but I worked hard and I was glad to put my knowledge to practice, getting confidence in the process. I can't wait to start on the ESL journey with the skills I have gained on the course. Thank you to the whole team!”

“The Level 5 course with the TEFL Academy is everything I hoped it would be. I feel I have received an extremely comprehensive training in all the relevant issues - from lesson planning to classroom management, all in the context of the specifics of teaching English as a foreign language. The course is delivered with a dry wit and humour that ensures that the student's attention never flags. This is a course that will keep a highly qualified native speaker engaged while never leaving behind the second language English speaker, who may be struggling.
