“I completed the 168-hour Level 5 course at The TEFL Academy. I thought the lessons were well organized and the assignments, quizzes, and tests were challenging. You really have to read the assignment instructions carefully before submitting, and the instructions are clear, so you need to be thorough. There was a little lag in the response time when I had a question for the tutor. It would be nice to have a live chat option.”

“I was not sure what to expect of an online course but I was pleasantly surprised. This course (Level 5 TEFL 168H) builds confidence through knowledge. The course material is well structured, extremely informative, included visual aids and provided highly valuable information on teacher / student dialogues. The platform is easy to navigate. I found the 3 assignments quite challenging but they provided great knowledge and practical experience. The course is so well developed and designed that not once have I had to contact a tutor to ask for further explanation or guidance. The assignments were marked within a fortnight and the feedback was very detailed and helpful. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wishes to venture into the TEFL community.”

“I would like yo start this review saying that I found this course quite enjoyable and helpful. Even after finishing the last assignment I still found lots of tips and helpful ideas to get me started as an English teacher. The content and set up of the course is friendly and easy to understand, basically guides students step by step. The assignments might seem a bit long in my personal opinion, but then again, I understand that there needs to be some grading method and at the end it provides practice for real life classes. In general I can only say that I am really happy with my decision to go for this course! Thanks to the TELF Academy!!”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL course online from my home in South Africa. Having the flexibility to do this course form home, and in my own time made a huge difference. The instructions and content were clear and well set out, so that at all times you understood what you needed to be doing, and how to do it. Some chapters were a little complex, and others a little dull, and just needed to be done. Others were very interesting and engaging. Now that I have this certification I will be able to work from anywhere online. Thats a very large positive for me.”

“TEFL Academy Level 5 course is an excellent, well-written, professional course. It is structured logically and uses different approaches, graphics and online subject tests to keep your attention and reinforce knowledge - it worked for me and it was fun to learn! So much to take in (and links given for further reading and information) and I applaud the TEFL Academy for keeping the standards of passing high. Employers can be assured that those with an award from the TEFL Academy have been well taught. The examiners were thorough in their marking and gave excellent feedback. Additionally, great skills learned for any career involving people management or training. Thank you so much.”

“I decidide to study for the TEFL qualification with the TEFL Academy in January- I am a primary teacher and thought that I would find the course slightly tedious and definitely easy. I was proved wrong- the course was very interesting. extremely well designed and quite challenging. I really enjoyed doing it, and the feedback after each assignment was excellent. The help system was superb and the company were extremely nice to deal with.
