“10/10. The content is well organised and presented. Also I found at times there was a sense of humour involved within the lessons, which really made it so enjoyable. I did a lot of research before picking a tefl provider, and I'm very glad I chose The Tefl Academy!”

“I’ve just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and that was a really pleasant experience. The information was interesting and well-structured, there were lots of quizzes and tests to consolidate new skills and knowledge. Actually, there was a lot of information! I studied after work and it took me almost half a year to accomplish the course. Now I’m looking forward to the certificate and great changes in my life! Thank you, the TEFL Academy! So great to work with the real experts!”

“I have recently completed the Combined Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hours), and would highly recommend both this course and The TEFL Academy to anyone considering teaching English professionally. The two face-to-face training days were interesting, useful and added a valuable extra dimension to the learning experience; the online course content was comprehensive, thoughtfully designed and well structured; and the student support was excellent. The whole experience was first class, and I feel that this course offers a sound foundation to any budding TEFL teachers.”

“Great supportive tutor and team. Assignments were reviewed on the time it states the course. The feedback for the assignments was clear and appropriate to help me develop different areas. The course provides enough examples and ideas. It is very well organised and easy to follow. The content of the course is great, it gave me the right information to start teaching English.”

“I first began my TEFL journey with another provider which luckily I was able to get a refund. I then chose TEFL academy (Level 5 TEFL Course 168 hours) and it has been an amazing journey from start to finish. The content, assignments and useful links were extremely helpful and beneficial in helping me understand everything. The best part of the course was the two day workshop with Rachel in Dublin. She was an absolute joy and her enthusiasm and reassuring words really helped me in settling my nerves to what was to be ahead of me. All in all I would definitely recommend this course and have even done so with my cousin. Great job guys and thank you for everything!!”

“The TEFL level 5 course is structured in a way which makes it simple to complete. With short modules and step by step instructions it was a simple process from start to finish. I feel I know have the skills to teach english anywhere in the world. Couldn't ask for a better course and I did look at other ones before deciding to do this one which I am very pleased that I did!”

“I'd simply say this is the best way of learning how to teach English. I've studied English at university (France) but some things were missing. The TEFL is complete on the subject. What I loved the most is that they show you a lot of different ways to teach, different games you could to make the lesson funnier. By the end of the course you have all the tools you need to start teaching. The TEFL course was really intuitive to use and very interactive. I'm really satisfied and would recommend this course to anyone !”

“I have just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). I had a great experience during my first online course. I found it really well structured, with detailed explanation of each module and each assignment. I didn't need to ask any questions during the whole course and completed it with a Distinction. It was a hard work and I completed the final assignment just before the deadline ( it took me around six months as I was mainly studying in the evenings). The teacher's feedback is great and very useful. I think the three assignments were equally hard to do and I got the lowest score 67% on the last one. You need to really think carefully about what is asked in the assignment instructions. However, once you complete your fist assignment (as I wasn't sure how much in detail I had to go) and get your feedback you can already get an idea of the way you need to do for the other two assignments. I had already taught English before I started the course (Private lessons at home) and this course gave me some extra confidence and taught me how to structure my lessons. As I give lessons to very young children (aged 3 +) I needed and wished to learn more about teaching very young learners (which is part of the last module) and would loved if there was an extra module (further developed) just on this topic. I also wished that there was more time allowed to use the platform after completing the course as there is a lot of useful information and many useful links. Overall it is a great course if you are self-motivated and if you are interested in the field of teaching.”
